Empires: Dawn of the Modern World User Reviews

I love this game

The good:

  • Graphics are great for a game released in 2003
  • 5 Different Ages
  • Great game play
  • Civilisations
  • 3 Campaigns

The bad:

  • None that I can think of

Summary:

The graphics are great, you can see the actual moving of parts to siege weapons, and soldiers go flying when hit with ships/seige weapons. There isn't much in way of music, but it's certainly not annoying to hear.

A good game

The good:

The graphics are amazing. There are sweet water effects, good looking poeple, and the bet part is, when a battleship or something attacks an infantry the guy blasts up in the air!
Also, the gameplay. Mass-producable units make it so you can have large scale battles, or just storm right up to your enemies doorstep.

The bad:

Well, for one thing, theres not much variety. You only get like, 3 land units per age until world war 1. Also, high pop caps can make this game very jerky on slower model computers.
