ecco the dolphin defender of the future.

The good:

you get to play dolphin soccer and you can do stunts when you jump out of the water.

The bad:

there is'nt any bad things it's totaly amazing!

Summary:

i love the way you get a little rubber vest to put on when you deal with electricity.

its amazing the way you can play football with other dolphines.

the cool thing is the tricks you do when you jump out of the sea or water. you can do flips, balance on youe tail and swim like that! its cool!

its good the way they have picked to do it about a dolphin. it looks a little bit like A Dogs life for PS2 and a dogs life is the best game i ever played.

While this is a good game...!

The good:

Use of every button on the controller.
The Gallery.

The bad:

Purple clue crystals.
The altered start positions for some of the levels.

Summary:

...It's still not as rnjoyable to me as the Dreamcast version. Don't get me wrong, I love the game and the job that they have done bringing it to the PS2 is incredible, I just feel that they have dumbed the game down too much for people in order to make it easier. This to me means that the achievement of completeing a game means less when it has been altered in this fashion.

Of course this version follows the same story as the DC version, which is that an evil force called 'the Foe' tries to take control of the Earth by travelling back through time to prevent the golden age of man and dolp...

What can I say...!

The good:

Eye candy galore.
smooth control system.

The bad:

A difficulty curve that resembles Everest.
A rather anti climactic ending.

Summary:

...That hasn't already been said. Well, how about a review from someone who worked on the game (check page 74 of your UK/EU game booklet).

When I first saw Ecco I was instantly hooked. Everything about the game screams QUALITY and PLAYABILITY. The storyline follows Ecco's quest through 4 different versions of the future, as an enemy called 'The Foe' has captured five traits of dolphins, thus changing history and ensuring that the golden age of man and dolphin doesn't happen. It is up to Ecco to reclaim these gifts and restore the correct timeline. Would have been far easier with a juice...

worthy of it's predecessors (spoilers)

The good:

Graphics, sound, music, game play, story

The bad:

nothing at all!

Summary:

I played and beat the two previous Ecco game for sega Genisis, and eagrly waited the next one. When i saw it on the shelf at the store i bought it right away. I can tell you this. I wasnt dissapointed. Everything in this game lives up to the ecco series.
I have played through most of it. (im still stuck at one part near the end) and I have been stunned by the graphics, the music and the gameplay. The controls are difficult to get used to, and if you are used to the old 2d ecco, you might even be disoriented. especially when you turn to avaid somthing, and end upside down. However once yo...

Swimming with the Fish

The good:

Awesome graphics.
Nice plot.
Long and challenging...

The bad:

...to the point of frustration.
Obscure puzzles.

Summary:

Eee. Eeeee. Ee. Eee. Eeeeee. The language of dolphins - hardly the most exciting, is it? Considering they're meant to be one of the most intelligent species on Earth, you would've thought a more diverse selection of words would be in use by now. And what exactly do they say to each other? Surely nothing too interesting given the type of life they lead - swim around a bit, eat some tuna, avoid the occasional shark. Where's the drama? Where's the action? It's unlikely you'll see two dolphins in a drunken punch-up after one found out that the other was sleeping with his wife. But, we shouldn't...
