Duck Hunt review
The Hunt At Home
Arcade-perfect graphics & gameplay.The bad:
You can't play without the Light Gun accessory.Summary:
The first arcade shooter (as Vs. Duck Hunt) to come home, this game also introduced the Light Gun peripheral for added realism. The object of the game is simple-shoot the ducks as they fly around. But it gets tricky sometimes due to their mixed-up patterns and limited ammo.
The graphics & sound are exactly the same as they were in the arcade, with the only difference being there are 2 modes of play-easy & hard. The Light Gun is generally responsive but you might have issues depending on how far back you are from your TV. Also, if you don't have the gun you cannot play this game with a regular controller, unless you have perhaps the LazerScope accessory.
While certainly no substitute for the great outdoors, it's still a lot of fun to play on a rainy day when you can't get outside.
