Donkey Kong Country User Reviews
Fairly good graphics, added minigames and a diverse cast of protagonists and antagonists alike. Levels are widly different and interesting, some are a challenge. bosses are also hilarious. The bad:
The difficulty can get a little troublesom at times. But most will manage to pull through.Summary:
Well, I recived this as a gift. I was amused, because I had until that point never played a Donkey Kong game before. I loaded it in, and loved it right away. It kept me busy for quite awhile, the levels take practice to defeat, the bosses later on are a challenge. It is an evenly paced game with 2 minigames thrown in for fun. The use of weapons int he game is staggering, especially the types of barrels availible for use, I must also mention the many bonus levels. It, in my opinion, is worth the money, and is great for a long trip. This game can join Mario in the elite of platforming.
Now PORTABLE, Fair graphics, excellent game play & fun factor, tons of worlds to explore, lots of stuff to collect. Getting 100% is the motive that makes this game addictive. The bad:
A bit old school but nothing bad about this game really.Summary:
The Super Nintendo Game that was released back in '95 now becomes portable. The motive to get 100% is what makes the game fun and addicting. There are many different types of worlds to explore, many things to collect, and many bonuses to complete before getting 100%.
I recommend this game to anyone. Even if it's old school, it's still worth playing.
The graphics are excellent. Considering this was once from 16 bit system.
The adventure is really fun too. It's pure classic. One of the greatest I've ever played.
The soundtrack is also great. They fit in well with the moods of their levels.
This game based on what is one of the SNES' finest hours has been ported (finally) but when I bought this game I was really shocked. What was once a top of the range side-scrolling platform game, with top graphics pre-rendered wonderfully on some expensive bit of hardware. Well that was "back in the day"
And it hasn't aged well.
Amazingly enough rare have teamed with Nintendo again and made a classic game into a disappointment. The graphics look dark and washed up (even on an SP) on some occasions you get your self killed due to the screen not showing what you want to see or in some cases ne...
Has good graphics, is easy to understand, nothing is really hard, and that it'll keep you playing it for ages! The bad:
Not too much bad for this one, so, there is nothing that I need to complain about.Summary:
This is a great game! Full of action and fun, it is Da Bomb!(But yet, I say that about every game that I like!) You have to get this game! It isen't only about Monkees, but about action, you can play as either Diddy or Donkey Kong! It's just like playing fun!
