Dave Mirra FreeStyle BMX User Reviews
+ A wide variety of Characters and Levels
+ A whole lot of Unlockables
+ Hours of gameplay
+ Hundreds of Tricks to Pull-off
Z-Axis and Acclaim really worked hard on this game and it shows. Though being the first PSX game I ever played, I didn't have high expectations, but this game easily surpassed them within seconds of experiencing its amazing gameplay.
In the main mode, ProQuest, you get to take on the role of a BMX Pro riding your way through levels to complete certain challenges, and also going to competitions from time to time. With all of the things you can unlock in this mode, you will be stuck playing it for hours, oblivious to the time just flying by. Though ProQuest may be the main mode, it most certai...
Good Levels, Good tricks (some are impossible in real life but oh well) Dirt Jumping. Good facial detail on riders. Double Backflip in introThe bad:
Physics are pretty floaty and slow motion. Still better than DMBMX2. Lack of videos.
Graphics: 8/10 The graphics are a little blocky, but when you get a look at the faces of riders the people are quite detailed. They get the job done well.
Physics: 6/10 Pretty floaty and slow moving. Very unrealistic. MHPBMX had better physics. Also the height numbering on the air meter was stupid, would have seemed much more real if they just put feet on the meter, not metres. Seriously while not changing the engine it would have felt realer.
Tricks 10/10 I played Mat Hoffman before this and I found it fun with its 24tricks or whatever it had. Dave Mirra has pretty hard to use and find spec...
This game is pretty good if you like Extreme games that are exciting. But the tricks are a little bit hard to pull off, also, it is a bit too realistic, especially with all of the beefing. But if you are the kind of person that overlooks all bad qualities of games, then this is the game for you. I would recommend this game to anybody who likes Extreme Biking games.
It has Dave Mirra in it, and the tricks are neat in this game. The bad:
It is a total wannabe copy of the Tony Hawk seriesSummary:
This game is only good because it has Dave Mirra in it, and the tricks are really neat, except that it is a total repeat of the TOny Hawk games, the only difference is the bikes. I would recommend this game to anybody who really likes extreme biking games.
you can use it as a frisbeeThe bad:
i dont EVEN wanna get startedSummary:
this is SOOOO pathetic... i usually love sports games no matter how many little flaws there is...but OH MY GOD...ive seen my little brother come up with better illustrations than this...i kno graphics arnt everything....but the gameplay is basically non-existant...oi if you buy this... jus burn it....or sell it to some dumb ass....
it is bmxThe bad:
bad graphics, bad gameplay, not much to doSummary:
This game doesnt have that much to do and if you like watching a character that looks like it was cut out of construction paper move around the stage, well then be my guest. There are like any big tournamnets to play in so there isnt much to the game. Dont get it unless you are given the game or you find it hidden somewhere.
