Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone User Reviews
The story is really good. And I love the graphics. Also being able to just switch characters on the fly is really cool. The bad:
There are a couple areas when you get to the end of a chapter and you really don't just catch on exactly what you need to do to beat the boss or scenario to complete the chapter. Also I wished it was set up like Gauntlet where you can have other players to join in the game.Summary:
The game is overall a really good game.It is a little like Gauntlet in that you ravel with some friends who help you a long the journey. The three heroines actually are the cause of the chaos to begin with. They happen to free these two demon-like creatures from the demon stone who actually are battling against one another for superiority and in doing so they practically destroy any town or kingdom they might come up on during their fight among each other and their armies. Graphics are beautiful! Story is great! The bad:
Save points are rediculous and the whole battle concept is confusing and unforgiving.Summary:
Demon Stone isn't worth $50.00. It's not worth $30 or $20. Maybe $9.99, because it isn't even playable. Atari blew it again! I don't know how much they paid for the celebrity voice overs, but they won't make thier money back. The graphics are almost cinimatic. The story, by R.A. Salvatore, is above par. Being only able to save, at the END of a chapter is terrible. If one player in your party dies, the whole group is wiped out. If you happened to have been killed, in the middle of a chapter, you have to start all over again...AWFUL! Your party is always overwhelmed by the enemy and you're sup...
