Civilization: Call to Power User Reviews
Concept of Armies is good. Much better graphics. Menus allow easier managament of cities. The bad:
What is up with the game crashing when loading a saved game? What happened to the city view?Summary:
If you can handle turn based, this is the game for you. CTP 2 has some nice upgrades to enhance the original. Watch out for those stealth units, they can ruin your whole century.
Graphics are great. Install is painless. It does not require 3D accelleration for a good game. The bad:
The game mysteriously pauses during combat turns when there are a large number of monsters on the screen.Summary:

Overall the game was pretty good. I have so far only played a couple rounds in the campaign, but am suitably impressed. I never heard much about the Win32 version so I did start off "virgin" so to speak. I also have not tested multi-player but expect it to be pretty good.
The only bad thing was that when there were a large number of armies in a battle, there was sometimes a bit of pause before I could move my own army during my turn.
