Beyond Good & Evil User Reviews
Before Assassin's Creed came in to save Ubisoft from being taken over; before Rayman turned into a party series (until Origins came out); before Crytek gave Ubisoft access to the Far Cry license and made the most immersing but dullest first person shooter known to mankind, there was Beyond Good And Evil, a game that wowed the five or six people who bought it, myself included. Playing through this game is like eating a high class dessert – there isn't a lot to it in terms of its size, but in terms of what's in there, how it's made and why everything was put together the way it is, is why you...
When it comes to Ubisoft properties it's easy to think of the likes of Rayman or Prince of Persia, which are well know action-adventure titles with a heavy focus on platforming. So when a new IP pops up appearing to run along the lines of action-adventure from that team then thoughts of precision jumping under a new name come to mind. Well, that isn't the case. Beyond Good & Evil focuses a lot more on the adventure element than its brethren, and it turns out to be a rather good unusual experience.
The story follows freelance photographer Jade, who when not tending to the lighthouse where she...
The sidequests, amazing graphics, good storyline, one hell of a gameplay. The bad:
The length of the game was suprisingly short. You play the game for a while, and the next thing you know, you're done.Summary:
I forgot how to write reviews but this game is awesome! The side quests are pretty darn fun, mainly where you can take a number of pictures of creatures scattered all over Hillys, and in the space to get pearls, which can be used to upgrade your ship. The camera is the deadliest weapon in my opinion. You go spy on the government, take pictures, and publish it on TV! Hahah.
The game has impressive graphics that will without doubt blow you away. I still can't get over the beautiful view of the space. The storyline is, well, sorta old. About a bad government trying to rule the world and you nee...
Absolutely Superb Story
Top Notch Sound
Camera Angles Sometime Akward
Somehow To Short
I allways wanted this game but I was never up to pay a 50 something Euros, but now I've got it brand new for the budget price of 14 Euros.
When I started playing I was up for surprise, the action starts immediately and I was used to the controlls in no time. First I thought some of the ingame characters would give the whole game a sort of childish touch, but once you accept them as part of a science fiction story which this title is you start liking them and you'll recognice that they do fit in quite well.
The maincharacter by the name of Jade is beautifully animated and drawn, a great videog...
It has great graphics and is really one of those games you never really want to stop playing. The bad:
Some places are hard to figure out. But that makes it even more interesting.Summary:
Beyond Good and Evil is the bext Gamecube game I have ever been able to play. It had great graphics and the plot is really believable.
Jade lives on an an island with her "uncle" Pey'j and other children they saved when their parents were taken by DmoZ. They live in a lighthouse that comes with everything for the little family. Including a sheild. A war is going on the little planet. A war that the Alpha Section claims was aided by the rebels, Iris.
When one day, Jade is offered a job that could possibly stop the war, she doesn't know what she is in for. She goes to the Iris, and is s...
easy controlls, good camera, makes you think, No game over, you can die but you restart a little farther back from where you were. The bad:
camera spazes out if your fighting with too many people but spazes out very rarley.Summary:
The game starts you off with action, I'm not gona spoil it but its definatley different then most games starting off. It takes a while to really understand how the game controlls work but the game gives you on screen guides when you are doing something for the first time, like jumping. The game is nice and the graphics are very good, no circles that look like there made out of blocks. Everyone knows what i'm talking about. The game is nice because all you really have to worry about is tripping lazerbeams, things that try to kill you, and taking pictures of things you need to. The charac...
