All-Star Baseball 2004

The good:

I found All-Star baseball 2004 to be a somewhat average baseball game. After playing the previous All-Star baseball games, I was hoping this game would amazing, but I never really found it to be the game it was supposedly hyped out to be.

Additionally, enhancements to this year's Franchise mode enable you to refine your general manager skills by analyzing payroll breakdown, comparing franchise budget between teams, and trying to sign your "keepers" to long-term contracts. This was basically the most funniest part of the game, actually not playing it. Just sitting there and making trades and watching you simulate through games was basically the most exciting part of this game.

The bad:

I didn't find this game to be as good as people invisioned it to be. Sure, the franchise mode was pretty heavily improved in the trading and signings department, but just playing the game wasn't that fun as the previous All-Star baseball games.

Summary:

Still, go out and rent it if your into just trading and making signings, but overall the game wasn't that good.

All-Star Baseball 2004

Summary:

All-Star Baseball 2004 is one of the best baseball games that I have ever played. It is one of the easiest to understand, too! It is easier than the other games to get a walk, and the windups for the pitcher take less time. One of the annoying parts of the game is those Jeter Tips and Manager Tips. They just pop up in the middle of the game. Just be sure to turn those off so it doesn't inturrupt the gameplay. There are many unlockable teams and jerseys. After every game that you play, you also get a certain amount of points. These points go to card packs. You collect these cards fo...

All-Star Baseball 2004

Summary:

General/Summary: Lets cut the cherade people , This game flat out sucks. The gameplay is by far the worse imaginable for any next gen baseball game on the market. And that says allot because every game currently out there sucks in its own way. The poor gameplay in ASB has been true even in last years version, yet for some unGodly reason Acclaim has a legion of followers who have convinced themselves that the Gameplay is the best ever. So Given that the Gameplay was horrible to begin with lets examine why this years version is not worth the dollar value in terms of improvements from last yea...

ASB 2004 isn’t perfect, or amazing for that matter, but it is a quality nine innings at best.

The good:

Franchise Mode, Extras, Graphics.

The bad:

Batting, Sound, Instant Replay.

Summary:

Deciding which new baseball game to spend your hard-earned cash on has gotten a lot harder than it used to be. With no fewer than 6 baseball-related titles being released this year by companies like EA Sports and Sega, the choices are practically endless. The question to ask now is what does each game have that the others don’t, and furthermore, is it enough to make the game stand out? With All-Star Baseball 2004, Acclaim tries to spice up its best-selling franchise by offering so many added features and extras you could spend hours with the game without even once setting foot on the virtua...
