Rather enjoyable

The good:

The featured Yugioh duel is pretty good, with real dueling, not like talking about stuff. Pretty good graphics, better shading, etc. Everything is basically a bit upgraded. Also, some new monsters such as Blue Eyes Shining Dragon

The bad:

Only one featured duel though, not many action. Then again, it's too short. It's hard to make duels like anime in one and a half hours, so I don't blame them.

Summary:

Anubis, the great lord of the dead of Egypt, has risen once again, with his pyramid of light. Meanwhile, the movie takes place after the Battle City Finals, where Yugi possesses the three Egyptian Gods. Then, it comes down to Yugi vs. Kaiba once again. Beforehand, Kaiba was given a card by Pegasus and Anubis each to stop Yugi's Egyptian gods. THen, when Kaiba activates the Pyramid of Light, the three gods disappear, but a new duel begins, a shadow duel. In order to save Kaiba, Yugi has to win, but if Kaiba loses, he'll lose his mind to the shadows. It's a lose-lose competition, until someth...

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie

The good:

It's Yu-Gi-OH
Has lots of new monsters featured in the film.
You get a free card with it.

The bad:

The whole thing is pretty much one big duel so there is no real storyline to it.
It's cut.

Summary:

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie is a great film for Anime lovers, kids and people that play Yu-Gi-Oh! I have to say i really liked the sound and the animation is really good too. The worst thing about the film is that it has been cut down to nearly half the size compared to the Japanese version. The storyline needs to be morth in depth because it is pretty much one hour long duel between Seto Kaiba and Yugi Muto. There is a little bit of storyline to the film but it's not very original, about a death pharoh.

I'd give the film about 83% but that is only because i love Yu-Gi-Oh!

Is it a movie or a dumb cheap commercialized tape?

Summary:

It's time to duel! As commonly said by Yugi(oh!) in the animated series. Yu-Gi-Oh! has gone thru manga series, to action toys, to trading card game, to video games, and even to an animated series! But something is missing, something that will revolutionize the Yu-Gi-Oh! genre of toys, anime, manga, and trading card game. Something that Yu-Gi-Oh! needed to become more popular among children an adults. Something that will bring entertainment to are eyes and ears. Finally, the Yu-Gi-Oh! duels has been brought to the large screen! That's right, to are local movie studios and later, to are homes...
