Well, basically, Rocky gets rich and famous, for beating Apollo Creed in the second fight for the Title via Knuckout. Now, Rocky faces a new challenge, Clubber Lang, the most vicous and dangerous opponent ever. His trainer Mike doesn't approve of Rocky giving Clubber a shot because he knew that Rocky had absolutely no chance of retaining the Title against this killer. He described him as a "wrecking machine". But Rocky convinced him of managing him for his fight and staying by his corner. Rocky doesn't do any serious training. He just goes to a GYM (not Mike's) with a bunch of fans watching him train and asking for autographs. Mike strongly suggested to go back to the old GYM and really start to pump those muscles, but Rocky didn't listen. In the night of the fight, Clubber and Rocky meet eye to eye before they hit it off in the ring, which caused a huge confrontation.
