Cowboy Bebop - The Movie

THE BAD:
Not a lot bad here, but it's not the greatest either.

SUMMARY:
Cowboy Bebop is a very popular anime series from Japan, and is definately one that I have enjoyed watching over the years. So when I first heard a movie was coming out I was highly interested and wasn't really disappointed.

The movie itself takes place almost like a regular episode, nothing too big but definately interesting. There is a terrorist attempting to end all life with a newly developed virus that he himself is immune to. A bounty is placed on his head and that's where our hero is not so much a hero but a bounty hunter named Spike comes in. Him and his gang of bounty hunters go on one crasy ride as they attempt to stop this terrorist, of course I won't spoil too much for you.

All in all this is a good movie, those who like anime will like, those who like the series will love it. I recommend checking this one out.

THE BAD:
It has to end.

SUMMARY:
Cowboy Bebop - The Movie is pretty much another episode of Cowboy Bebop just a little bit longer. It is set before the end of the series as Edward is in it. The animation is done really good and looks really neat. The music is great just like the series and the voices fit right in, Japanese and English. The storyline is really good and just seems like another episode.

Overall i'd give this 97% and it will be even better if you have seen the series.

THE BAD:
-The name change from "Knocking on Heaven`s Door" to
"Cowboy Bebop: The Movie"
-The boxart
-All the Product Placement in it, thinks like Coca-Cola, Lucky Strike, Cup Noodles

SUMMARY:
At first, when the movie began.
I relized how much I missed Cowboy Bebop
The movie begins with a robbary at a convenice store.
Even then the movie is so stylish,
The deatails in the background, make you appriciate how hard they must have worked on it.
So let`s fastfoward a few in to the movie,
The movie is funny, but in the way of what
happends, not in the way of a joke.
I really like this movie except for all the Product Placement in it, thinks like Coca-Cola, Lucky Strike, Cup Noodles
Around the middle, they sorta drag it out a bit
I would complain, but it`s freakin` Cowboy Bebop.
But then the action starts right away.
The final fight at "Hallowen Tower"
is one of the coolest things ever.

THE BAD:
Not enough music

SUMMARY:
It's important to note first up that Cowboys are nowhere to be found in this film. Bounty hunters are the theme of the day in this futuristic world, as the main characters travel the galaxy tracking down paydays and putting away the bad guys.
The animation visually is superb, a nice mix of cel animation & CG (computer generated) imagery, and the characters' personas are translated perfectly from the anime series, and some of the action sequences are among the best I've seen in anime yet. The only complaint I have about this is the music-while Yoko Kanno's soundtrack is very well done as always, there's just not enough...a couple of songs and a fight theme here & there, but that's about it. They could've put much more in!
Even if you're not a fan of the anime, this is one film definitely worth seeing-one of the best anime movies to hit the US to date.

THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
I absolutely loved this movie! If your a fan of Cowboy Bebop, this is the one for you. It takes place in between episodes 22 and 23, so that's why the whole cast is there. There's a terrorist on the loose with a dangerous new virus, it's clear, easy to manufacture, and can kill hundreds in a few minutes. Spike and the gang must destroy the virus before it is used on everyone inhabiting Mars. An absolute must see for Anime and Action fans alike.
