Owen Wilsons character (forgot name) and his co-piloet go out on a routine mission. they soon see something they arent supposed to see and going into territory there not supposed to go in. They jet gets shot down by the enemy which is some sort of rebels I believe. Wilson then finds himself deep in enemys territory with rebels wanted him dead. Kinda like a cat and mouse thing going on here.
Meanwhile back on land Hackmans character finds out something is wrong and loses radio contact with them. He sends out rescue team but another admiral wants no rescue to take place.
This is a good action movie. Lots of camera angles and neat tricks have been done before but they use those tricks all in the right places in this films. The action is non stop in this film. Edge of your seat is going on here.
But there was some problems. The rebels who are trying to kill Owen. They are searching him in what- a 100 mile radius. Something like that. Doesn't seem possible. Like seerching for a needle in a haystack. but also when the rebels do find wilson they are sniping him out. Bullets almost hit him. Owen runs out of sight. Sniper gets mad. Then we go to the next scene. Owen is out of harms way walking. If I just had a brush with death I would be running. But no hes walking and no sign of the sniper chasing after him.
But I put all the drawbacks away in the back of my mind and watch a great action movie take place.
