Netgear EX6200 Review reported at 05:54 PM
category: Wireless Network Adaptors     website: HardwareHeaven
Article Quote:
"The device currently retails for around £90/$130 and in terms of performance we had no issues with that aspect of the Netgear EX6200 extender. It provided a strong signal in areas where our router would start to drop off and easily provided speeds which matched our NAS drive transfer limits as well as the broadband internet connection. Essentially other aspects of our setup are likely to be the limitation and not the EX6200. Well worthy of our recommended award."

Antec HCP-1000 Platinum Review reported at 05:49 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: NikKTech
Article Quote:
That being said price may still be an issue for some people but compared to 1KW 80 Plus Platinum models by other manufacturers it's actually quite good and in the end that's all that matters when comparing prices. Overall the High Current Pro Platinum 1000W model is just as good as it's two award winning brothers and naturally it gets our Platinum Award.

"Considering the wireless performance, USB 3.0 capabilities, and ease of use - the D-Link DIR-880L AC1900 Wi-Fi router is definitely worth a look if you don't need many special features in a router. That said, it earns the Bigbruin.com "Recommended" award."

Crucial MX100 256GB Review reported at 12:25 PM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: MadShrimps
Article Quote:
Indeed, prices have dropped significantly and now the 256GB is the sweet spot for many models; the Crucial MX100 is one of the cheapest we have seen so far, being available for about 91.8 Euros. This is excellent since we can use the rest of the money for investing in another system component when buying a new PC or we can simply buy two of these and run them in a RAID configuration.

HIS Radeon R9 290X IceQ Hybrid Review reported at 12:24 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Guru3D
Article Quote:
"The Hybrid IceQ edition of this 290X is superb in performance and low noise levels. We like the factory overclock, as that 1100 MHz on the GPU with 6 Gbps on the memory simply is a first (as far as I have seen) in terms of a R9 290X being clocked this high. And that shows in game performance alright. Cooling wise we measure give or take 80 Degrees C which was a little higher then I had hoped for. But coming from the reference card with its 95 Degrees C it surely is a massive improvement. And combined with that factory tweak its pretty okay. A thicker or bigger radiator with two fans probably would have kicked ass."

InWin 901 Review reported at 11:36 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
Overall, In Win has shown that they have the guts to gun for designer glory once again, and for that, they should be applauded. The In Win 901 may be expensive, and it may not offer all the functionality other cases in its price segment sport, and, heck, it is not nearly as amazing as other cases in terms of overall compatibility, but, oh boy, does it look good, and that is exactly what will matter so much more to the crowd the In Win 901 is for—it is perfect for those who do not need the size of the 904.

Logitech MX1000 Review reported at 11:27 AM
category: Mice     website: MadShrimps
Article Quote:
The Crucial MX100 is available in three different variants: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB and is set to replace the previous M500 by using newer NAND on a lower lithography (Micron 16nm ONFi NAND). The read performance is very good but on the writes side it is beaten by some SSDs we have tested in the past. We surely expect the level of performance to modify even further as the time passes since Crucial usually updates the drive firmware many times after the products have been launched, so no need to worry about that.

DeepCool MaelStrom 240 Review reported at 11:17 AM
category: CPU Coolers     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
"Overall, the Deepcool MaelStrom 240 is a solid product with a good looking color scheme, which is perfectly suitable for ASUS ROG as well as all other black and black&red motherboards. It offers a really good cooling performance with two 120mm PWM fans. The cooler is small with a tiny pump/base, so it will fit even in small cases or SFF systems. The only thing we really didn't like is the pump noise. It's not loud but, since it's high frequent, you hear it well."

PNY GTX 780 & GTX 780 Ti Customized OC Review reported at 11:09 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: HardwareCanucks
Article Quote:
The GTX 780 Ti Customized and GTX 780 Customized are simply excellent graphics cards. Their prices are competitive, they perform well, frequency stability is sport on and the addition of PNY’s lifetime warranty will surely make some gamers sit up and take notice. They also look absolutely stunning, though that opinion can differ quite a bit from one person to another. The only real concern we have is that PNY may find it challenging to truly differentiate the Customized Series from their competition. However, if given a chance, these cards have the chops to run right alongside everything at a comparable price point.
