AMD R7 SSD 240GB Review reported at 12:50 PM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: Guru3D
Article Quote:
Last words, the AMD Radeon R7 SSD series is very fast, has a greatly refined Barefoot controller with accompanying firmware and Toshiba's latest A19nm NAND flash memory. It is a product you'll like and use for a long time. I also dare to state that it is one of the most reliable product on the market anno 2014, combined with the excellent new ShieldPlus warranty this is a pure win in our book, and as such it comes very much recommended by Guru3D.com.

Cooler Master GXII 650W Review reported at 12:33 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: HardOCP
Article Quote:
The Cooler Master GXII 650W is another example of a mediocre warmed over power supply from a number of years ago being pushed out to consumers today like chicken that has been sitting out on the counter-top under warming lights too long. If that sounds familiar that is because this unit’s predecessor, the GX 650W, was much the same kind of failing product. Indeed, this unit takes just about every page out of the original GX 650W's book and uses that as a template of where to start to go wrong.

Thecus N2310 Review reported at 12:18 PM
category: Storage Accessories     website: MadShrimps
Article Quote:
The entry-level N2310 NAS from Thecus is featuring a different all-plastic chassis with support for both 2.5’’ and 3.5’’ drives. Thanks to the installable wizard, the setup can be done quite quickly, which can also include RAID creation. The motherboard includes an AMCC APM 86491 800MHz processor which is paired with only 512MB of DDR3; storage can be further expanded by using the USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports but we should not expect for stellar network transfer speeds.

AMD R7 SSD 240GB Review reported at 11:49 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
AMD has set the MSRP of their Radeon R7 SSD at $164, which seems a bit high considering you can find plenty of drives on the market that are both faster and cheaper. The use of an additional 16 GB of overprovisioning might help steady state performance, but hurts the GB per dollar metric. AMD's four-year warranty (handled through OCZ), on the other hand, is better than what we find on the cheap budget drives.

AMD R7 SSD 240GB Review reported at 11:42 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: HardwareHeaven
Article Quote:
In terms of performance, that was pretty much what we expected. The OCZ controller allows us to hit peak speeds which can compete with the best drives in the industry. The move to A19nm MLC NAND doesn’t have any detrimental effect either, we still hit what appears to be the peak performance of the platform and results against OCZs Vector are very close indeed, sometimes peaking higher on other occasions just beneath. So all things considered, a drive worthy of our performance award.

Diamond USB 3.0/2.0 to DVI/HDMI/VGA Adapter Review reported at 11:33 AM
category: Input device accessories     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
"Ultimately, I like the concept. It was nice not having to dig through my bag of cables for the right one to use and it was pretty simple to set up and use. However, with the fad of smaller tablet/PC devices and the ever popular BayTrail and Tegra processors, it becomes difficult to use such a device. The CPU isn't enough to power the conversion to upscale the output 1080p. Though understandable, my main "laptop" on the go for work or school is now my ASUS T100, as it can do everything I need it to do – besides display 1080p. Though I believe the Diamond adapter has its place, it doesn't exactly have a home in my travel bag."

Kingston HyperX Fury 240GB SSD Review reported at 11:29 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: NikKTech
Article Quote:
Now the good thing about Kingston however is that they are using their very own MLC NAND flash modules for the HyperX FURY SSD line so they could easily cut the price in order to make it more competitive but until (and if) that happens i really see no reason for USA consumers to prefer the HyperX FURY 240GB SSD over for example the Slim S60 240GB which offers the same capacity and is overall quite faster. Inside the EU however things are slightly different since the Slim S60 240GB is around 10% more expensive so if you happen to be looking for a new SSD and you're on a very tight budget then the HyperX FURY 240GB SSD could be exactly what you're looking for.
