Asus R9 270X DirectCU II TOP Review reported at 02:45 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: HardOCP
Article Quote:
If you have $200 in your pocket to purchase a R9 270X, then look no further than the ASUS R9 270X DirectCU II TOP for the best performance around $200, but you would likely be better off moving up the GPU scale for the same money. It is odd to say, but it seems to us that the ASUS R9 270X DirectCU II TOP is not too expensive or not of value, but the Radeon R9 280 family has gotten too "economical" to allow this 270 card to truly shine.

Intel Xeon E5-2697 v2 Review reported at 02:39 PM
category: Socket 2011     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
"With a staggering amount of performance and surprisingly high power efficiency Intel’s Ivy Bridge-EP Xeon E5-2697 v2 processor is a smart choice for prosumers and small business users who need lots of x86 performance but without the excessive power draw of rival products. It may not be cheap but it is not merely a CPU: it is an investment in productivity."

Gigabyte Aivia Osmium Review reported at 01:04 PM
category: Keyboards     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
In terms of value, the keyboard is certainly a very good product with attractive features like USB 3.0 port. If you are looking for a good keyboard with an attractive, but not too aggressive design, then the Gigabyte Osmium is a very good choice.

Asus ROG Swift PG278Q Review reported at 01:01 PM
category: 20/22/24 INCH     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
The only real drawback is that price tag. At $799, ASUS is asking for quite a premium for the G-Sync + 144 Hz combination. It is a $320 premium over its own ASUS PB278Q (that honestly has a slightly better screen) to be precise. With other G-Sync monitors on the horizon, including a new 1080p option and a 4K 60 Hz as well, it might be a smart decision to wait and see what else becomes available. But, then again, there is a lot to like about this monitor, today.

AMD A10-7800 Review reported at 12:46 PM
category: AMD Socket FM2+ CPUs     website: Benchmark Reviews
Article Quote:
The A10-7800 includes the best integrated graphics cores yet seen on a CPU, and offers all of the latest GCN/Radeon/HSA features for less. Maybe it’s only suited for a narrow range of uses that enthusiasts wouldn’t necessarily be interested in, but perhaps we need to remember that the market range of uses for the A10-7800 is probably much larger – for those users, the A10-7800 can be a pretty compelling option.

AeroCool Dead Silence Review reported at 12:40 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: pcGameware.co.uk
Article Quote:
For approximately £75.00, the Aerocool DS Cube case in my mind offers fairly good value for money. It offers a sleek design with the additional flair of the awesome lime green leather coated panels, is solidly built and is stupidly easy to build in, it’s also very nice to have a horizontal motherboard layout and a window to show off your GPU of choice. Would i recommend one? If your happy to spend a little extra on a couple of extra fans then yes. Would I buy one? Well I’ve already got one here in front of me!

SSD Endurance Diary with OCZ Vector 256 GB reported at 12:38 PM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
Since the Vector 256 GB is a consumer drive and consumers will be the ones buying and using such a drive, a suitable use case should be applied. In case of an average user it's highly likely that no more than 20 Gigabyte will be written on the drive per day, which is over 24 times less then what the Vector 256 GB could actually do.

Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme Review reported at 12:34 PM
category: CPU Coolers     website: NikKTech
Article Quote:
Of course if you don't mind the mentioned drawbacks of the slightly better Kuhler H2O 1250 by Antec you can find it for even less but in the end that comes down to personal preference. The only really bad thing about the Water 3.0 Extreme is that it made us want to check out the latest Water 3.0 Ultimate even more but that's really not enough for us to keep our Golden Award away from it.

AMD A10-7800 & A6-7400K APUs On Linux reported at 12:32 PM
category: AMD Socket FM2+ CPUs     website: Phoronix
Article Quote:
The only other thing to bring up from that data is the CPU/GPU reporting for these new APUs under the Linux 3.13 kernel on Ubuntu 14.04 isn't working appropriately. However, aside from incorrect thermal readings, the A10-7800 and A6-7400K have been running great on Ubuntu Linux.

Asus ROG Swift PG278Q Review reported at 12:12 PM
category: 20/22/24 INCH     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
When you get down to it, the facts are that even with a TN panel being used for the high refresh rate, the ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q G-Sync monitor delivers great picture quality and truly impressive gaming. I could go on all day long about how smooth each of the games played while testing this monitor, but ultimately not be able to show you without having you sit at the desk with me. No stuttering, no tearing, no lag; it's like getting that new car and having all the sales hype end up being right on the money. When I flip back and forth between my 60Hz monitor and the PC278Q, its like a night and day experience.

Cooler Master N600 Review reported at 12:10 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: ThinkComputers
Article Quote:
What the Prospective buyer needs to know is that the COOLER MASTER N600 with window is a great value and a great modding case and if your are a System builder this case can fit any configuration you like as long as you don’t use a motherboard larger than an ATX with seven slots. Its perfect and the only thing missing is the imagination of the builder that works with it. That comes after the sell.
