Cooler Master V650S Review reported at 12:52 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: HardOCP
Article Quote:
"Ultimately, the moral of today's story is that the Cooler Master V650S is a good power supply that has the guts of a real competitor, but suffers in that it does not set itself apart from its competition, and it also suffers from poor product positioning or design and cuts some cost saving corners that it should not. And while not a standout, this surely shows that Cooler Master is headed in the right direction with its PSU build quality and direction."

Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon R9 290 4GB Review reported at 12:47 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
You can find Sapphire's Radeon R9 290 Vapor-X in stock at most major retailers, priced at around $440. Recent price drops have positioned the cheaper R9 290 variants at $370, which brings the price premium to $70, and that's a lot. Even with all the improvements taken into account, the card wouldn't be worth a 20% price premium to me. Even the GTX 780 at $470 could be an option if power and noise really matter to you and you can live with slightly lower performance.

Western Digital Red 6TB & Red Pro 4TB Review reported at 12:44 PM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
It's great to see Western Digital expand the capacities of the Red all the way up to 6TB. The upgraded NASware 3.0, extending support to NAS devices up to 8-bays is also a welcome addition. An additional bonus was the new Red Pro line, which is essentially high performance enterprise internals hiding under a red label - supported in arrays of up to 16 drives thanks to hardware vibration compensation. The Red Pro performed extremely well in our tests, but a firmware configuration bug present in the 5TB and 6TB Reds prevented us from seeing the full potential of those new higher capacities.
