80PLUS 450W Gold Power Supply Roundup reported at 10:20 AM
category: Power Supplies     website: Tom's Hardware
Article Quote:
In reality, the S12G has every right to sport its 80 PLUS logo. Just like the Enermax and Corsair offerings, though, its efficiency does decline a lot faster than the Cooler Master V450S. Still, it doesn't exhibit any weaknesses in our other measurements, behaving well in the ripple and noise benchmarks.

PowerColor Devil 13 Dual Core R9 290X 8GB GDDR5 Review reported at 09:54 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Guru3d
Article Quote:
At 1399 USD the price is fair in our opinion. The card and the bundle (Razer Ouroboros mouse included) rock in terms of relative value. Also, we expect AMD to throw in some sort of game bundle for PowerColor, of course. If you filter out heat and noise, in return you get to play your games at butter-smooth frame rates with merely the very best image quality settings. Fact remains, PowerColor released the fastest graphics card in the world and whilst being faster overall, it is two times cheaper than the GeForce GTX Titan Z. That fact alone is very impressive.

If you’re looking for a smart buy without sacrificing a good gaming experience, the MSI GTX 750 Ti OC TwinFrozr II is definitely for you. BitFenix Neos Review reported at 09:27 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: pcGameware.co.uk
Article Quote:
It’s an ideal case for a first time or budget Gaming build and potentially a great entry into PC modding. Like the BitFenix Comrade before it, the Neos is very hard to ignore for the price (possibly more so than its less attractive sibling) and certainly worthy of your attention.

Crucial MX100 512GB Review reported at 09:25 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: Techware Labs
Article Quote:
There’s nothing really bad to say about the Crucial MX100. It has incredible incompressible data performance and very good compressible performance as well. It was able to match or beat the competition in reads in almost every benchmark and blew them away in write speed. Combine this with the fact that it’s one of the cheapest 512GB drives you can buy right now and it’s easy to see that the MX100 is a winner. If you’re in the market for a big SSD, I’d definitely recommend the Crucial MX100.

"With a sturdy construction, excellent functionality, and top-notch macro programming, the Gamdias HERMES is definitely a contender in the gaming market. However, price and the utter lack of documentation hold back what could otherwise be considered a sterling product."
