BitFenix Colossus Mini-ITX Review reported at 05:48 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: pcGameware.co.uk
Article Quote:
The case follows the usual high quality, solid build and flair for design that many of BitFenix products have. The Colossus M features SofTouch for an extra premium feel, high quality powder coated interior and the blindingly brilliant new LiteTrak lighting system (kinda reminds me of Maximilian from Disney’s ‘Black Hole’). The hardware installation was pretty simple and surprisingly the cable management works incredibly well (with a tiny bit of forethought ;) ). In addition to this, the flexibility to add a variety of cooling solutions (inc both AIO and custom water cooling) to a case this size (W250mm x H330mm x D374mm) is simply stunning!

Antec P100 Review reported at 05:46 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: NikKTech
Article Quote:
Of course if you have the space, you can afford more and you want something better you can always go for the larger P280 which is not really that much more expensive compared to the P100 (roughly USD25/30Euros). However if space is a big issue or if you don't want to cross the USD100 mark then the P100 is a very good choice and that's why it gets our Golden Award.

Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming G1 WIFI-BK Review reported at 12:45 PM
category: Socket 1150 Motherboards     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
"The board performed well in both stock and overclocked conditions, rolling with anything we threw at it. The hybrid cooling solution for the CPU VRMs are another nice addition, especially with the configurability offered through the use of G1/4" threaded ports for the water ports. To complete the board, GIGABYTE integrated a quad core Creative-sourced audio chipset producing some of the best sound that I've encountered from an integrated sound solution. The addition of configurable gain and OP-AMP did not hurt with its performance. GIGABYTE even updated the UEFI BIOS with noticeable performance and visual enhancements making it more responsive and easier to use."

Asus PCE-AC68 Review reported at 12:36 PM
category: Internet Routers     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
It is all and well in having the fastest router on the market at the heart of your network, but it is not worth the cost unless you have a wireless adaptor that can match its strong performance. With performance figures that leave every wireless adaptor standing in the dust the PCE-AC68 is one extreme wireless card and is just the key for any true enthusiast.

MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Review reported at 12:33 PM
category: Socket 1150 Motherboards     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
"After having spent a few weeks with the MSI Z97 GAMING 5, I have to admit that I am rather impressed with the complete package, which directly targets gamers with the features they need and nothing else. From the included features and software and down to the physical design and esthetics, the MSI Z97 GAMING 5 offers everything you need from Intel's latest and a 6-month premium subscription for XSplit, so you can stream all that butt-kicking online for everyone to see. Add in the board's retail price of around $160 and you are looking at a pretty mean product with decent features, for a decent price."

Intel Core i7-3930K 3-way SLI Gaming Performance Scaling reported at 12:19 PM
category: Socket 2011     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
Putting more than two graphics cards into a gaming PC is basically not going to affect frames per second in most games. There are only very few titles where triple SLI is supported. The only reasonable thing to use triple SLI for is for breaking world records. Only when running theoretical benchmarks we come accross consistent scaling and with most of the games, there is no difference at all.

Fractal Design Node 804 Review reported at 12:02 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: Benchmark Reviews
Article Quote:
"I think the Node 804 is one of the most unique and attractive cases released yet this year. The Corsair Carbide Air 540 was one of my favorite cases from last year, and the Node 804 takes the concept into the micro-ATX realm and adds a dash of sophistication. The plethora of configuration options available are exciting for such a small enclosure. It’s easy to build in, offers a unique layout that has some real advantages with very few tradeoffs, and looks great with that subtle and efficient Scandinavian design. Fractal Design has a great performer on their hands that can house a wide variety of systems (although I’d love to see even more of a focus on airflow in an ARC version using the same form factor…). Right now, it’s the only one of its kind – and it’s the best Node yet."

Plextor PX-AG256M6e Review reported at 11:56 AM
category: PC Card Hard Drives     website: HardwareCanucks
Article Quote:
"The M6e 256GB is a great option for gamers who just can’t justify the price for higher end options like OCZ’s RevoDrive. It boasts an innovative design, an affordable price and some impressive real world performance numbers which will make it a darling among certain crowds. With that being said, small form factor system won’t be able to use the M6e unless a PCI-E slot is vacated and it gets hobbled as storage limits are reached. If you’re in the market for affordable high end performance and have the space for the M6e, it’s a great option with a lot of potential."
