AMD Radeon R9 295X2 Review reported at 12:08 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: HardOCP
Article Quote:
AMD has done a great job with this 295X2 video card. This is by far one of the best engineering builds AMD has done on a gamer level consumer video card. This is AMD's greatest achievement thus far for a gamer card in terms of build quality, thermal performance, and sound profile. That said, the price does seem slightly high, we would have rather have seen this around $1300. Granted, you pay for the best, and this certainly is the best from AMD.

AMD Radeon R9 295X2 Review reported at 12:06 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Hardware.Info
Article Quote:
As we expected from the specifications and we can see in our benchmark suite the R9 295X2 is just as fast as two R9 290X in a CrossFire setup. This is not a surprise, as technically the R9 295X2 is basically two R9 290X cards on one PCB. There are some advantages to getting a R9 295X2 compared to a crossfire setup of two R9 290X's. The biggest advantage we can see is the fact that the R9 295X2 is a lot quieter than the CrossFire solution thanks to the watercooling that comes as standard. The other big advantage is the fact that the 295X2 is a single slot solution, which would enable you to get CrossFire performance in systems that would not have room for a two graphics cards setup. A two card setup however would enable you to overclock each card individually, making the potential of higher performance compared to the R295X2 very possible. Also, two separate cards is the cheaper solution.

AMD Radeon R9 295X2 Review reported at 12:03 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
Look, I'm not going to sit here and tell anyone that AMD is offering a bargain with a $1500 graphics card, but considering NVIDIA announced the GeForce Titan Z for $2999 just a couple of weeks ago, AMD could have gone up to the $2000 level and no one would have been able to put up a big fight. But, right as we start to see the stock levels of the R9 series single GPU graphics cards come back to reasonable levels, AMD is offering a flagship solution that combines two $600 GPUs on one highly engineered and custom cooled PCB.

AMD Radeon R9 295X2 Review reported at 11:24 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
In terms of performance we see truly impressive 4K resolution numbers from the R9 295X2, which are essentially twice those of a single R9 290X card. With these results, R9 295X2 is the fastest single card solution available today, and a great choice for this resolution, as well as 5760x1080 EyeFinity. Thanks to the low temperatures, provided by watercooling, the card does not throttle during normal games, which means you have its full potential available at all times. Unlike a single GPU card, being based on two graphics processors, the R9 295X2 needs good drivers to show proper performance improvements in games.

Cougar MX300 Review reported at 11:13 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
"To conclude, I think Cougar has a decent mid-tower that fits in a niche of compact chassis. Being priced around $60, it puts up a good fight for the price, and what it lacks, makes it up for in customization and layout of the fans. Cougar has landed in at the middle and to get the most out of it, you will have to invest a few more dollars in fans."
