PNY GeForce GTX 770 OC2 Review reported at 11:38 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: HardwareCanucks
Article Quote:
"At this point in time PNY is very much a dark horse among GeForce board partners but that hasn’t stopped them from creating a highly appealing product. The OC2 is everything we could possibly want in a sub-$450 graphics card; it is silent, provides surprisingly high framerates and has the benefit of additional memory. Meanwhile, the lifetime warranty is simply the icing on the cake and allows this card to handily nose ahead of the competition in our books."

Sidestepping the question of value, which market forces affect on an almost-daily basis, we find that it's better to ask if we'd spend an extra 14% to rid ourselves of the reference card’s heat and noise issues. The answer is an easy yes.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 vs AMD Radeon R9 280X Comparison reported at 10:54 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
Should you actually really be thinking about upgrading from a GTX 680 to a Radeon R9 280X than we can tell you that you won't get better performance from the card you're planning to buy. Therefore it makes sense to stick with the GTX 680 or go with a card that is actually offering additional performance compared to the GTX 680. The only possible reason we see why someone could be willing to take this step is to get support for AMDs new Mantle API, but at the same time you will be ditching PhysiX support. In our opinion such a descision would be of really subjective nature.
