be quiet Dark Rock Pro 3 Review reported at 01:10 PM
category: CPU Coolers     website: Frosty Tech
Article Quote:
To sum up, the BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3 heatsink is close to a "Noctua level" of build quality (but not quite there) and contains a good balance of innovative thermal design choices and noise reducing features to yield an effective, 200W capable low noise CPU heatsink. Recommended.

Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC Review reported at 01:08 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
"Right now, the ASUS GTX 750 Ti OC retails for $160. Only a $10 price premium over the reference design, I find the premium reasonable for just the card's improved noise and monitor output configuration. Still, the GTX 750 Ti's reference price is too high at $150, which has other cards offer a better price/performance ratio. The GTX 650 Ti Boost comes to mind, which you should be able to find for around $130, and AMD recently released their Radeon R7 265 retailing at $150, but it is neither as efficient or quiet as the GTX 750 Ti."

As enthusiasts we are used to paying for performance and in the case of the Kuhler 1250 it seems that trend continues. Thankfully, with the Kuhler 1250, performance follows suit which eases the burden.

GeIL Thortech Thunderbolt Plus 850W Review reported at 12:55 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
The Thortech Thunderbolt Plus 850W power supply delivers a glimpse of what Thortech can offer. The spark of promise shown by the quality and performance of the product is quickly extinguished by the lacklustre pricing, MIA nature of the Thortech brand and total absence of stock at any major retailers.

MSI R7 250 2GD3 OC Review reported at 12:51 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Hardcoreware
Article Quote:
Buying an A10 7850K and an R7 250 will set you back about $275 together, which obviously makes it worthy of consideration for an entry level gaming build. For the same price though, you could get a Core i3 4340 with a GeForce 750. Or pair up an FX-6300 with an R7 265.

XFX Type 1 Bravo Review reported at 11:53 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: HardwareCanucks
Article Quote:
"While the Type 01 Bravo’s exterior has plenty of appeal, the real success or failure of XFX’s first outing into the case market will be determined by its interior. Unfortunately, it is a bit of a mixed bag. There’s a front 200mm intake fan which can be replaced with dual 120mm units and an included rear 140mm fan but there really isn’t any place for dual fan radiators, even of the AIO variety. That’s a major miss considering nearly every other enclosure at this price point has some form of enthusiast water cooling compatibility."
