Xigmatek Vector P700 Review reported at 01:36 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
"The new Vector P700 unit generally performs well since it is based on a pretty good modern platform. Its performance could be significantly better if more caps and caps of higher quality were used in the secondary side, which would lower +12V ripple even more if only its lousy power distribution were fixed."

SilverStone Tundra TD02 Review reported at 01:16 PM
category: CPU Coolers     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
Their were several design challenges that may have held back the TD02's performance. The most obvious was the size of the barbs and tubing used for liquid medium transport. Using only 1/4" diameter tubing probably held back the performance of the unit by creating flow bottlenecks at all interfaces, restricting the flow of the medium and inhibiting the performance with the slower flow through the CPU block channels and the radiator. The radiator construction was well done, but the material used for the radiator was questionable. In an air cooler, aluminum radiators are desirable because of the metal's ability to absorb and shed heat from the embedded copper heat pipes.

AMD Radeon HD 6870 vs. R9 270X Comparison reported at 11:05 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
The new Radeon R9 270X is on average a massive 78 percent quicker than the Radeon HD 6870, which makes this conclusion a no-brainer. Upgrading from the HD 6870 to a Radeon R9 270X is an all reasonable descision. Lots of games will become playable again. If you consider that reference R9 270X cards are sold at about 160 Euro these days, and if you then keep in mind, that you'll easily get 50 Euro for your old Radeon HD 6870, when you have to invest about 110 Euro to buy a card, that let's you play most games at high resolutions.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti Review reported at 11:03 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Tom's Hardware
Article Quote:
In the end, there are a number of situations where Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 750 Ti cannot be matched by any card from either vendor. In other comparisons, the GM107-based card is strong, but simply priced fairly based on its competition. And then there is an as-of-yet unrealized match-up where AMD can deliver a stunning value-packed counter-punch, though we remain skeptical of Radeon R7 265’s price and availability.
