Thermaltake Tt eSports Theron Infrared Review reported at 03:06 PM
category: Mice     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
In my honest opinion I just can't find anything special about this mouse that really brings it home for the cost. No it's not super expensive, but where is the bonus? Even the really cheap end mice have forward and back buttons with the ability to create a macro on a random extra button. Most come with software (good and bad) that can change DPI settings, and polling rate just the same. Many of them can even change color and for a much lesser price. I just don't see the bonus in this mouse that makes me jump up to buy it. If you already have a mouse with forward and back buttons, and the ability to change sensitivity, hold on to your pennies; this isn't the upgrade you're waiting for.

Intel Core i7-4960X vs. i7-4930K Gaming Performance reported at 11:48 AM
category: Socket 2011     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
If it's really frame rates you want you're better of thinking about adding a second GPU to your gaming rig for the money you didn't spend on that new CPU. A 2.5 percent performance increase for a few hundred bucks is really rather out of proportion.

BitFenix Flo Review reported at 11:40 AM
category: headsets     website: MadShrimps
Article Quote:
Even if this is the first attempt of Bitfenix to bring an audio headset to the market, we were surprised by the audio quality they offer; we weren’t overly impressed by the design though since there are many other manufacturers which perfected their product for quite some time now: SteelSeries, Mad Catz, Corsair etc.

category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
"While the PS09 may be a little dull, it’s still a great case for the money and if you need something straight forward, quiet and budget friendly for a low-mid powered system, or an affordable solution for a professional / office system, then you’ll find the PS09 to be a solid investment."

AMD A10-7850K Review reported at 11:14 AM
category: AMD Socket FM2+ CPUs     website: TechSpot
Article Quote:
If possible, we recommend spending a little extra money on a competent mid-range graphics card for guaranteed performance in all of your favorite games. While AMD's latest APUs make an interesting value proposition on their own, it seems like there are few situations where it would make sense to buy the company's FM2+ platform for Dual Graphics between an APU and a low-end discrete GPU.

eVGA Z87 Stinger Review reported at 11:08 AM
category: Socket 1150 Motherboards     website: HardwareHeaven
Article Quote:
Starting off with the Z87 Stinger we have a pretty solid product. EVGA use a decent layout although on a board of this type having as many of the key connectors close to the edge, and close to each other, as possible would be beneficial to wiring in compact cases. The black/red colour scheme works well and there is plenty of room round the CPU socket for larger coolers, including some pretty massive ones from the likes of Noctua. Solid capacitors add to the quality and we like the inclusion of the mini-PCIe slot, on board buttons and debug led. An extra SATA port would have been appreciated, maximising potential for storage and maybe an extra fan header or two, plus moving of the 2nd USB 3.0 internal connector to a location which isn't covered by the bundled cover. In fact, in that entire area, some extra external USB connectors would have been appreciated.
