ECS Z87H3-A3X Review reported at 01:58 PM
category: Socket 1150 Motherboards     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
The Z87H3-A3X is an interesting experiment by ECS where they successfully developed a value-priced motherboard without sacrificing on performance or feature set. Somehow, ECS was even able to package in an Intel Z87 chipset. The Z87H3-A3X motherboard does not have the sleek looks of its big brother, the Z87H3-A2X Extreme, but does have some nice features that differentiate the board besides its price. The board layout is clean and uncluttered with plenty of room to spare around all components. Includes eye-catching heat sinks on both the CPU VRMs and the Intel Z87 chipset, gold colored and optimized for heat passive heat transfer. Additionally, ECS integrated there Durathon power delivery system into the board's design, pairing the board with high quality Ice chokes and gold-plated solid capacitors rated for operational stability up to 200k hours. While ECS had to keep the integrated peripheral count to a minimum to keep board costs down, they chose to integrate an Intel-base GigE NIC into the board, further proving this board's performance potential. From a stock performance perspective, you would not be able to tell the difference between this board and any other Intel Z87-based system.

Kingston DataTraveler 3.0 Review reported at 01:48 PM
category: Tape/Zip/Jaz Drives     website: NikKTech
Article Quote:
Granted as mentioned earlier the DT Mini 64GB is not the performance king so for professionals who need the best possible r/w speeds it may not be the ideal choice but for regular consumers i think that Kingston has hit the sweet spot between price and capacity not to mention size. In the end however although we liked everything about it performance does play a significant role in our conclusions and so although we can't award it with our Platinum award because of this that's where our Golden Award comes in.

Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X OC Review reported at 01:46 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
Custom R9 290 graphics cards have taken their time in arriving but now they are here and Sapphire’s Tri-X edition proves it has been well worth the wait. Sapphire have done what seemed impossible only a few months ago in taming the obscenely hot and noisy R9 290 into a silent and cool running package while still offering a factory overclock and competitive pricing. If you’ve been hanging around for custom R9 290s then wait no longer. Sapphire’s R9 290 Tri-X really is the ultimate package and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Corsair Graphite 230T Review reported at 01:39 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
For under £60 this is easily one of the best chassis you can buy, plenty of room for storage, multiple graphics cards and a great overall design that will make for a fantastic looking gaming system. Build quality is on par with what we have come to expect from a Corsair chassis and the 230T is a worthy addition to their range.

Cooler Master Silencio 352 Review reported at 01:38 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
The Cooler Master Silencio 352 is a mini-tower case which is very well done and definitely convincing regarding the soundproofing. The quality of materials is on very good level, including the plastic parts. Despite its small size, you can install large heatsinks or high-end liquid cooling systems. The design is very elegant, the number of I/O connections are easily accessible on the front of the case and the magnetic cover the top is a cool idea.

QNAP HS-210 Review reported at 01:37 PM
category: Storage Accessories     website: TechSpot
Article Quote:
"There aren't too many viable NAS options under $300 so we're glad the HS-210 is available. We may question some of QNAP's design choices, but the HS-210 offers a great user interface and acceptable performance for a fair price. Nonetheless, its confused sense of direction makes the box hard to recommend over rivals."

Antec Kühler H2O 1250 Review reported at 01:34 PM
category: CPU Coolers     website: HardwareCanucks
Article Quote:
Antec’s Kuhler 1250 represents a departure from the cookie-cutter mentality of the All in One water cooling market and in most respects, is one of the better units currently available. Its out-of-box performance is quite good, installation is simple and Antec backs up their products with excellent customer service. Despite its limitations, with some much-needed software updates the Kuhler has the capability to become one of the best. Until that point it still represents a unique, innovative approach which deserves your attention.

Asus Radeon R9 290X DirectCU II OC Review reported at 12:59 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
If the card really ends up with a $699 price, it'll be a complete waste of money. You'd be much better off getting a custom design GeForce GTX 780 Ti, which would be significantly faster and quieter. However, the card is an interesting option at ASUS's projected price of $599. It clearly beats the reference design cards in all metrics you could think of, and the $100 price difference to a GTX 780 Ti could go into upgrading a different piece of hardware, although spending an additional $100 probably wouldn't make much of a difference if you are in the market for a $600 graphics card.

MSI Z87M Gaming Review reported at 12:56 PM
category: Socket 1150 Motherboards     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
Overall I have to say that MSI has moved into a space mostly occupied by one of its chief rivals and laid claim to that turf with the Z87M Gaming. It's got impressive looks for that image and performance to back the looks up. At $159 with a three-year warranty, the Z87M is a solid option if you are looking for a small form factor build.
