Corsair GS800 Review reported at 11:20 AM
category: Power Supplies     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
Corsair pretty much offers a low cost PSU with the new GS800. The low cost aspect can be easily noticed with this PSU. The quality of components and manufacturing as well as the heatsink solutions are not comparable with high-end PSU. However, with the GS800, Corsair also managed to offer a PSU which is able to power most PCs today. The feature with an illuminated fan is, on our view, a waste of money. The PSU would be much better if CWT/Corsair have invested in Japanese caps on the secondary side. Generally, we would love to see much better components and quality at a price of 120 CHF. We can recommend it as a low cost solution but would also suggest that you take a look at the Corsair CX750M, which is not that much worse but also cheaper as well as the Corsair AX860 which is a high end PSU. Of course, some might prefer the LED fan on the GS800 and this is purely subjective decision.

Cooler Master CM Storm Ceres 500 Review reported at 11:16 AM
category: headsets     website: Modders-Inc
Article Quote:
"The Ceres 500 flexibility also extends to its compatibility for console use, effectively extending its value as well. If there is one minor gripe to have however, it would have to be the lack of more durable cabling. Braided cabling or even thicker rubberized cables extend a headset’s lifetime considerably as these are often the first to get damaged."

Netgear R7000 Review reported at 10:38 AM
category: Internet Routers     website: Missing Remote
Article Quote:
"In the modern wireless market, there is not much difference between the underlying hardware each of the vendors bases their products on. When comparing state-of-the-art AC1900 Wi-Fi routers, chances are that, aside from some slight variation in clock speed, the spec’ sheets will read pretty much the same. This makes stability and software ecosystem essential differentiators when evaluating competitive models – both areas where the NETGEAR R7000 Nighthawk does well. While the admin UI is a bit plain, ReadySHARE Vault’s point-in-time file backup is an outstanding feature that NETGEAR provides as part of the $199. Adding to this the general feature set, stability and excellent performance the R7000 Nighthawk belongs at the top of any AC1900 shortlist."
