be quiet Straight Power E9 Review reported at 11:21 AM
category: Power Supplies     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
be quiet! put a nice and decent design in place and also the manufacturing quality is on a decent level. Because of the use of cheap Taiwanese Teapo capacitors we however do not recommend this device for applications which require high reliability or an extremely long lifespan.

SilverStone Fortress FT04 Review reported at 10:49 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: Phoronix
Article Quote:
The SilverStone Fortress FT04 is built incredibly well and with an immense amount of features from 180mm fans for maximum cooling to improved fan filters to foam padding throughout. It was great working with the FT04 -- aside from when running the fans maxed out to an obnoxious noisy level -- but I don't know if I would call it my favorite SilverStone case. The build quality is great, the layout is great, and I didn't really encounter any significant problems with the build. However, over other recent SilverStone enclosures I didn't really encounter anything phenomenal to take it to the next level per se. But, I do thoroughly enjoy the case, its advanced feature-set, and it will continue to be used as one of the enclosed test systems at Phoronix. SilverStone products continue to be very dependable, elegant, and will work great for several years to come.

Func KB-460 Review reported at 10:15 AM
category: Keyboards     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
The bottom line is that the Func KB-460 is a very good looking keyboard aesthetically and has enough features to make it flexible. At $119.95 the price is pretty high, but not out of reason. The KB-460 feels extremely well made. Almost like it could get in a fight with a cinder block and walk away. I find it hard to believe that this is the first keyboard ever from Func, simply because of the quality and ease of use. But, it is the very first for the company, and it delivers a solid performance worthy of its price range and competition.

MSI N780 Lightning Review reported at 10:01 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
There are overclocked graphics cards and then there are overclockers’ graphics cards. This graphics card from MSI is certainly the latter. If you want a GTX 780 graphics card that you can overclock to obscene levels then this offers you exactly that. The MSI GTX 780 Lightning has everything an overclocker needs and if you can get access to the unlocked voltage through MSI’s special copy of Afterburner then the possibilities really are endless. Though even without that you’ve still got a tonne of potential. That potential is aided by a seriously impressive power delivery system and a whopping great big cooler. However, the GTX 780′s Lightning’s biggest success is also its biggest downfall. The relentless push for overclocking potential means the size and weight of its cooler is impractical for most systems. The card also has weak memory overclocking and isn’t the highest clocked GTX 780 on the market, though it can easily claim that title through overclocking. If you just want an overclocked graphics card then there are better options (the MSI GTX 780 TwinFrozr Gaming is a good one), but if actually want to overclock then the GTX 780 Lightning is right on the money.
