Asus ROG Matrix R9 280X Platinum Review reported at 01:03 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
General + - On the paper the Radeon R9 280X Matrix Platinum from ASUS is a really nice piece of hardware. It features a very strong power design, a great cooling solution, a high factory overclocking and some nice overclocking features. But unfortunately on the test bed the Matrix didn't do well. The power consumption was too high, the cooling performance was disappointing and the card is way too expensive. Not to mention that our sample was unstable and the onboard buttons weren't working.

Sandisk Ultra Plus 256GB & Extreme II 240GB Review reported at 12:54 PM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: Hardware.Info
Article Quote:
In terms of pricing, the Extreme II is positioned in the high-end segment. Only the Coirsair Neutron GTX v2 and OCZ Vector 256GB are more expensive based on price per GB. The OCZ Vector is also one of the fastest Serial ATA 600 SSDs currently on the market, especially under continuous loads. The same can't be said of the Extreme II. Its performance is above average, but not on the level of the Vector or the Samsung 840 Pro. The Samsung SSD is also more affordable. For this reason we can't really recommend the Sandisk Extreme II, despite the fact that it's a very good SSD.

category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: MadShrimps
Article Quote:
The new R9 270X implementation from HIS comes with a custom PCB, an award-winning cooling system which is very efficient while keeping the noise down and is also pre-overclocked. The card trades punches with the GTX 760 and succeeds to surpass it in some games which are heavily AMD optimized.

be quiet Pure Power CM L8 Review reported at 12:47 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: Hardware Asylum
Article Quote:
I can see why be quiet! has been the bestselling power supply brand in Germany for 5 years running. I can also easily see the L8 series becoming a force to be reckoned with around the world. While I prefer a modular setup and Multi GPU compatibility they add cost to the final product and you can't argue with the feature set at this price point.

InWin GRone Review reported at 12:40 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
The In Win GRone looks menacing right out of the box, with its wide footprint and detailed, edgy design. As we have come to expect from In Win cases, both build quality and paint job are immaculate. With five fans included right out of the box and the ability to hold five more if you want to go all out, the GRone also comes extremely well-equipped. But the chassis also manages to impress with its excellent flexibility for water-cooling, good tool-less design, and functional feature set. The latter includes a basic fan controller and hot-swap bay, for example. With a great eye for design details, the In Win GRone looks spiffy, regardless of whether you pick the gray or white variant. There is little to be criticized when it comes time to assemble the system as the GRone offers both USB 2.0 and 3.0, loads of space, and excellent cable routing. The two most annoying aspects in this nearly perfect chassis are the lack of little hooks for clean cable management and its wasted 5.25" drive bay at the top of the front, but that is all. The In Win GRone manages to impress in all important areas, which nets it both well-deserves praise and our Editor's Choice award.

Roccat Kone Pure Optical Review reported at 12:27 PM
category: Mice     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
The ROCCAT Kone Pure Optical is a great mouse! If you feel it's a little high in cost, it's definitely worth the wait for a Newegg coupon or a good sale at your retailer;
