SilverStone Argon AR01 Review reported at 12:20 PM
category: CPU Coolers     website: Frosty Tech
Article Quote:
If your computer case can stomach the 159mm tall stature of the Silverstone Argon AR01 heatsink, you should be happy with the thermal performance we've witnessed across our three synthetic thermal test platforms. That being said, we're not at all satisfied by the rubber fan brackets used here. The white wrap-around rubber fan mounts do install more easily than threaded type we're used to seeing with this heatsink frame, but I don't trust them to stay put. The 90-degree turn in the elastic material puts it under tension; with continuous heating and cooling cycles I would expect the mounts to rapidly spring free, resulting in the fan separating from the aluminum fin tower. Silverstone ought to use wire fan clips.

be quiet Shadow Rock 2 Review reported at 11:29 AM
category: CPU Coolers     website: HardwareHeaven
Article Quote:
Starting with the build quality of the Shadow Rock 2 we have no complaints. It is a well assembled unit which shows no defects around the heatsink or base plate. In terms of design we always like to see a cooler which arrives as pre-assembled as possible which was the case here with the fan pre-attached. The install process was nice and simple too, especially on socket 2011.

Gigabyte Force K7 Review reported at 11:24 AM
category: Keyboards     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
The performance of the K7 far exceeded my expectations, the build quality is of the same high quality we see in other Gigabyte products and the price is very reasonable, now all Gigabyte need to do is make a pro edition with a few extra functions and this keyboard will be perfect.

Tesoro Colada G3NL Review reported at 11:16 AM
category: Keyboards     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
"In terms of value, the Colada is certainly a high quality product but could be improved in some aspects. The price is slightly higher than offers from competitors, which have also been made from aluminium, but the Colada has a unique design and a really nice sidebar illumination."

A-DATA XPG Gaming v2.0 DDR3-2400 2x4GB Kit Review reported at 11:04 AM
category: DDR3 Memory     website: Benchmark Reviews
Article Quote:
The AX3U2400W4G11 delivered performance on par with its specifications, but only narrowly. In fact, the slower, 2133MHz Kingston HyperX RAM outperformed the ADATA XPG V2 2400MHz kit in several synthetic tests. This didn’t carry over with the real-world scenario tests, however, where the AX3U2400W4G11 won out in each of the games and the video conversion. That doesn’t necessarily mean much, however, considering a 50% increase in RAM speed only translated into about a 15% increase in FPS in Bioshock and 20% in Tomb Raider.

CM Havoc & QuickFire XT Review reported at 11:00 AM
category: Keyboards     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
Overall I really enjoyed the CM Havoc gaming mouse. I usually don't go for the fat mice, but this is one you can definitely be a chubby chaser for and still be thought of as okay. It is definitely set to fancy those with a palm grip and despite having small hands there's not too much there... the QuickFire XT is another good keyboard from the CM QuickFire lineup.
