Intel Core i7-4820K Review reported at 01:06 PM
category: Socket 2011     website: Guru3D
Article Quote:
"As stated, the 4930K (555 USD ) and four core 4820K (310 USD) just tested will be the products that are the more interesting ones from the Ivy Bridge-E lineup. If you are planning running multiple GPUs, this platform might give you a tiny bit of an edge with its 40 PCie gen 3.0 lanes, however a 4770K on Z87 offers better chipset features and at the moment of writing was a notch faster. As such there is no real winner or loser here today as it's all roughly the same stuff. And I do want to mention, the 4820K is effectively €20 to 30 cheaper then a 4770k! So in the end it will boil down to platform preferences and features offered. Regardless, it most certainly is a processor we can recommend."

eVGA GeForce GTX 780 Classified ACX Review reported at 11:41 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Guru3D
Article Quote:
Great performance, sturdy design, quality components, great cooling and all that at silent noise levels. What more can you ask for. Next to that, there remains room left for tweaking. Overall the product is just very impressive and has nice looks. One problem now however is with all these limitations in place, why should you go for a classified and not pick up the default GTX 780 SKU. Well, that is something only you can answer yourself. Some will like to pay extra for the default overclock, others want a Classified for brevity's sake and some just want the best of the best. Hey I'm an Enthusiast PC user, I understand bro!

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H Review reported at 11:17 AM
category: Socket 1150 Motherboards     website: HardOCP
Article Quote:
The GIGABYTE Z87X-UD4H proved to be the best Z87 motherboard that we have experienced from GIGABYTE. The overall package is not as refined as some others in the market, but the motherboard’s build quality and design are very solid. This motherboard is selling in the $180 range. If you are a GIGABYTE fan this motherboard should be on our Haswell short list.

MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Review reported at 11:14 AM
category: Socket 1150 Motherboards     website: Hexus
Article Quote:
Presented nicely and laid out with care, MSI has included a sensible number of value-adds on top of the Z87 chipset. Backed by a well-stocked BIOS and performing as well as any other LGA1150 board in our tests, the £115 street price represents good value. We're struggling to think of any genuinely bad points, which is always the sign of an above-average board, and we can certainly recommend putting the G-45 Gaming on a shortlist for that next build.

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H Review reported at 11:06 AM
category: Socket 1150 Motherboards     website: Techgage
Article Quote:
After that in-depth look, I have to say that I’m very impressed with GIGABYTE’s Z87X-UD3H. At its price-point of about $160, it offers a lot, and thanks to the massive improvements we’ve seen with the company’s EFI and software suite (namely EasyTune), I find myself wrapping-up this review in rather joyous spirits – GIGABYTE has built a thoroughly good board here.

SilverStone Raven RV-04 Review reported at 10:50 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: HardOCP
Article Quote:
The Raven RV04 is a great case with a few glaring flaws. Unfortunately, those flaws could be deal-breakers for some of you. The RV04 felt a bit "old-school" in terms of its build quality, from the decorative door, to its archaic approach to needing a tool every step of the way when working with it. All that said, if you are building an all out, air cooled enthusiast system, the cooling performance of this chassis cannot be ignored.

Cooler Master CM Storm QuickFire XT Review reported at 10:30 AM
category: Keyboards     website: Benchmark Reviews
Article Quote:
The QuickFire XT is a barebones mechanical keyboard, it has no backlighting or software for creating macros. What it does provide is a amazing platform for typing, in a full sized keyboard layout, with media controls. Overall the QuickFire XT does everything I need and nothing more.

Patriot Viper 3 Black Mamba DDR3-2400 4x4GB Kit Review reported at 10:25 AM
category: DDR3 Memory     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
"The Patriot Viper 3 Black Mamba modules go through a rigorous hand testing procedure to ensure the modules live up to standards and beyond. Ultimately the payoff in terms of performance is not there when you start loosening the timings to get to a higher number. On the Z87 platform, CPU clock speed is king and you need to push the CPU first followed by the memory to find the best performance compromise. If pricing is as aggressive as last year's models, then these modules should prove to be a bargain for the enthusiast looking to push them to the max."
