MMO Gaming Mouse Roundup reported at 12:32 PM
category: Mice     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
If I was pushed I would say the MMO7 was the best gaming mouse here, it’s laser focused on gaming and little else, but the M95 is just as great in day-to-day tasks and is more manageable to live with. I can’t pick between them and if I could let them fight it out between each other I’m certain it would be a double KO.

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H Review reported at 12:13 PM
category: Socket 1150 Motherboards     website: Pro-Clockers.com
Article Quote:
"The Z87X-UD3H with its many features has a very nice layout. The passive heat sinks are not terribly tall making the mounting of coolers less painful. The PCIe slot layout is another plus. Someone looking for a board like the UD3H probably won’t be looking to run more than two graphic cards. I say two would be the ideal number and the space between the two full length slots is plentiful and allows ample airflow between the cards. One small feature can be overlooked is SATA power to the PCIe lanes. Gone is the regular MOLEX-type making for less cables being plugged in the PSU."

Crucial Ballistix Sport XT DDR3-1866 4x4GB Kit Review reported at 12:08 PM
category: DDR3 Memory     website: Techware Labs
Article Quote:
"Having said that, the Sport XT’s are a worthwhile investment for someone looking to upgrade their memory. At 1866 MHz there is plenty of speed to get things done quickly, and being a 16 GB kit, running out of memory should be a thing of the past. The only issue I have with this kit is that at 10-10-10-30, the timing is a little looser than comparable kits. But at around $150, it is also one of the most inexpensive 1866 MHz 4×4 GB kits you can buy. If you are looking for fairly powerful RAM that won’t break the bank, the Sport XT’s would be a good choice."

Scythe Ashura Review reported at 11:58 AM
category: CPU Coolers     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
Scythe have once again redefined the standards of what to expect in a CPU cooler. The Ashura offers an unmatched amount of quality, performance, silence and functionality at its price point. What’s more by adding another fan you could easily take this CPU cooler to the next level and have one of the most potent air coolers on the market. If you’re looking for a high quality cooling solution but don’t want to get into water cooling, closed loop AIO cooling, or simply do not have the space for a large tower heatsink then the Scythe Ashura is definitely for you. The Scythe Ashura comes highly recommended from eTeknix and is one of my top picks to date – and I’ve reviewed a lot of CPU coolers.

Patriot Viper 3 Black Mamba DDR3-1866 2x4GB Kit Review reported at 11:56 AM
category: DDR3 Memory     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
"Once again, we took a humble Patriot product, which didn’t promise much on paper, and ended up running it at 50% over its rated frequency. We guess that being busy with AMD cooperation does not allow Patriot to concentrate on maxing out the Viper lineup which, from an overclocker's perspective, is actually a good thing. Although it also means that Patriot do not pay attention to detail; green PCB and featherweight heatspreaders are two things quite a few users might want to see changed."

Rosewill RK-9100BR Review reported at 11:51 AM
category: Keyboards     website: ThinkComputers
Article Quote:
"It’s not the cheapest keyboard in the world, but if you’re looking for a truly solid mechanical keyboard around $100, Rosewill’s RK-9100 should be highly considered."

Cooler Master CM Storm QuickFire Stealth Review reported at 11:45 AM
category: Keyboards     website: Benchmark Reviews
Article Quote:
I love the Quickfire Stealth, it may not have lots of the features of the larger “gaming” keyboards but it is a joy to type on, wonderful to look at, and has a great space saving design. Because of this, I am happy to recommend the CM Storm Quickfire Stealth and give it Benchmark Reviews Golden Tachometer award.

Thecus N2520 Review reported at 11:27 AM
category: Storage Accessories     website: Hardware.Info
Article Quote:
"The Thecus N2520 is certainly interesting due to the new features, but right now we have to speak more of interesting potential than a great final product. That's because many things aren't available or active yet. The HDMI isn't functional yet and not everything is entirely finalized in the new firmware. In the coming months the I's will be dotted and the Ts crossed, and the finished product should then be a very interesting one if you want a NAS with HDMI."

Zowie Mashu Review reported at 11:22 AM
category: headsets     website: MadShrimps
Article Quote:
"Overall, the Mashu is surely a good gaming headset that most users will enjoy and can be also used successfully for Skype conferences, watching movies or listening to music. To get the most from this headset we also must be sure to have a good quality sound card on PCI or PCI-Express or one of the latest Z87 motherboards which have revised sound systems with good isolation from the rest of the components."

Lian Li PC-D8000 Review reported at 11:17 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: TechSpot
Article Quote:
"A more realistic price would be around $400 for what we'd consider an essential configuration. Even so, the D8000 is still pretty good value and when you consider the fact that no other case supports 20 drives right out of the box, it really has no equal. Although pricing puts it alongside the V2120B and 900D, it's in a completely different league than those cases. Personally, I've been seeking something like this for years and I couldn't be happier that the D8000 finally exists, even if it isn't perfect."

OCZ Vertex 3.20 Review reported at 11:02 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
Whilst the Vertex 3.20 is not the cheapest ‘budget’ drive on the market, it follows a path of reliability, trustworthy performance and for those who are in a legion to OCZ, this is a worthy upgrade option short of stepping in to the high performance categories with the likes of the current yard-stick for SSD performance OCZ’s own Vector.

Thermaltake Urban S71 Review reported at 11:00 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
Thermaltake have made another premium and very high quality product with the S71, one that is well suited to those looking for a bold design to house a high performance, multi GPU system and while it may be a little expensive it does give a lot in return. I really do hope that Thermaltake continue to develop and grow their Urban chassis product range in the near future.

Patriot Viper 3 Black Mamba DDR3-2133 2x8GB Kit Review reported at 10:47 AM
category: DDR3 Memory     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
"These new 16GB dual channel kits are soon going to have more competition, but for the meantime, the ‘Black Mamba’ Viper kits have got the bite and venom to put the competition to rest, still making it one of my top choices."

Enermax ELC240 Review reported at 10:41 AM
category: CPU Coolers     website: NikKTech
Article Quote:
That being said the ELC240 AIO by Enermax may not be the cooling efficiency king but it works as it should with good performance levels, has room for improvement (two more fans in push & pull), can be installed very easily and in the process you get no clearance issues with other system components. Of course both the price issue (compared to its immediate competition) along with the fact that you can't control the speed of the fans from the comfort of your desktop remain but still thanks to all of the above it still gets highly recommended and gets our Golden Award.
