category: DDR3 Memory     website: HardwareHeaven
Article Quote:
"Performance and capacity options are plentiful too, so there should be something to meet everyone's needs but we feel that the 1866MHz 16GB kit feels like a good balance as it doesn't sacrifice timing settings for higher MHz."

Intel Core i7-4770K Review reported at 11:59 AM
category: Intel Socket 1150 CPUs     website: Techgage
Article Quote:
To sum-up, Intel’s Haswell is a great architecture for a number of reasons, and for those building a new system, it’s an ideal choice for the ultimate in performance and efficiency. Its performance improvements over Ivy Bridge don’t warrant even a minor consideration of an upgrade, but for those with older platforms, Haswell is well-worth considering.

Silicon Power Velox V55 Review reported at 11:59 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: Legion Hardware
Article Quote:
Overall if you are looking at the cheapest possible way to get your hands on an SSD then the Silicon-Power Velox V55 provides a nice option. Performance is strong, although nothing like the top tier models, more like what we saw from the previous generation. Reliability is unknown at this point, though Silicon-Power does offer a 3 year warranty for that piece of mind.

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC Review reported at 11:47 AM
category: Socket 1150 Motherboards     website: Ninjalane
Article Quote:
The GA-Z87X-OC has come a long way when you look back on the rocky past of the OC line from Gigabyte. Some boards came with helpful features like WiFi while others took a more functional approach with expensive capacitors for easier board insulation and extremely large PWMs. While options like this may have been trivial in nature the underlying message has always been clear, these motherboards are designed for the computer enthusiast and extreme overclocker.

PowerColor Devil HD7870 Review reported at 11:40 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
Overall I like the package PowerColor has put together and represents a card that is well worth a look as you move to purchase a new video card to enjoy the latest games. It's not a low end or high end performer by any means, but one that fits just right in its performance niche for the mainstream gamer.
