Gainward GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2GB Golden Sample Review reported at 12:17 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: NikKTech
Article Quote:
With the GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2GB Golden Sample Gainward has successfully introduced a graphics card that can easily fill the gap between the normal GTX 650 and the GTX 670 largely thanks to the very good factory overclock. Granted as many of you are well aware the GeForce GTX 660 Ti model is also present in the market and is placed right beneath the GeForce GTX 670 which in turn means that it's also faster (compared to the GTX 650 Ti BOOST) but not in such a degree to justify the extra price. Personally after the recent introduction of the GeForce 7 series if i had to go over the Gainward GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2GB GS I’d probably opt for the GeForce GTX 760 which is a newer model (and thus there's plenty of room for driver improvements), it's slightly faster (even now) and in the long run not really that much further in price compared to the GeForce GTX 660 Ti. Going back to the GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2GB GS by Gainward there's really nothing wrong with it, performance is very good, noise levels are quite low (a lot lower compared to the Phantom GeForce GTX 670), temperatures are also very low and on top of that the card is quite small allowing it to fit even in m-ATX cases with ease.

Fractal Design Integra R2 Review reported at 11:57 AM
category: Power Supplies     website: ThinkComputers
Article Quote:
Fractal Design was still able to include their cool embossed “snowflake” logo on the top of the unit and there logo on the side is very attractive. Design-wise this unit seems much like Fractal-Design’s higher-end offerings. If you are on a budget the Fractal Design Integra R2 is great choice in a power supply.

MSI GeForce GTX 780 GAMING Review reported at 11:51 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: LanOC
Article Quote:
So what does all of this cost you? Well stock speed reference cards are running 649.99 and if you look around overclocked reference designs are $10 more at $659.99. So I was a little surprised to see that the MSI GTX 780 Gaming priced at $659.99 as well. It was already a good option but pricing it in line with overclocked reference designs makes this a steal. To give you an idea, currently the only other overclocked GTX 780 with an aftermarket heatsinks are running $679 and $799 (watercooled). If you are on the market for a GTX 780, the MSI GTX 780 Gaming aka N780 TF 3GD5/OC should be at the top of your list to check out.

Corsair Carbide Air 540 Review reported at 11:33 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: Guru3d
Article Quote:
Overall we think the Carbide Air 540 is a unique chassis. A quick check here in the Netherlands shows that the Carbide Air 540 can be found for 115 EUR already, and that I feel is a price I'd be comfortable with. Though not cheap it seems fair, honestly you can not go wrong with it and you receive a two year warranty as well. If you need a simple not too big chassis, then the Air 540 should by high on your short-list. For the money you really great a high-end class chassis with all black design up-to and including the cabling. It's tool-free and has enough storage space. Inside there is plenty of room to work in and to manage your cabling. There's lots of meshes and additional cooling options and the cherry on top of it all are the USB 3.0 headers.

AMD HD 7790 & NVIDIA 650 Ti BOOST Roundup reported at 11:29 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
None of these cards are bad choices. Each has their own value in what they offer, and the price of the products reflects that nicely. Perhaps the 650 Ti BOOST is a tad more expensive than it should be when looking at the shifting landscape of graphics performance, but it certainly is not out of line. The Asus card is very well built and apportioned, and a user will pay a little extra for the luxury of having a card with higher end component choices and excellent cooling. The MSI card just seems to hit everything right and at a rock bottom price. Budget enthusiasts rejoice! There are no bad choices here!

Cooler Master Eisberg 120L Prestige Review reported at 11:00 AM
category: CPU Coolers     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
"Cooler Master’s Eisberg 120L is a solid product that has good performance, uses high quality parts and offers expandability for the 120mm AIO. However, the product has a major flaw that needs to be addressed with its price, it is way too high for it to be competitive in the current marketplace. We simply cannot recommend the Cooler Master Eisberg 120L Prestige at its current price when there are so many equally as good and better products out there for much less money. Let’s hope the Cooler Master Eisberg 240L Prestige can offer up something better, stay tuned for that review."

Asus Maximus VI Hero Review reported at 10:57 AM
category: Socket 1150 Motherboards     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
The first impression the Maximus VI Hero from ASUS leaves makes us want more. Once again we like the ROG design, which meanwhile belongs to the evergreens in the industry. Overall this board comes with quite a decent feature mix and especially the price of (today) 172 Euro (est. CHF 206-) is really attractive. Basically this board offers everything to set up an entry level overclocking rig and since you get the ROG BIOS there are plenty of overclocking friendly settings users can play with.
