Func MS-3 Review reported at 05:20 PM
category: Mice     website: HardwareCanucks
Article Quote:
FUNC’s firs touting into the gaming mouse market clearly shows their dedication to providing enthusiasts with a well-rounded product. The MS-3 may not be unique in its ergonomics, features, specifications or even software, but the sum is greater than its parts. When taken as a whole this mouse is one of the few that doesn’t exhibit any glaring issues and provides an excellent platform for veterans and novices alike. It is an extremely good, if lightweight, wired gaming peripheral with a well thought out and executed design. If you have are looking for a large yet extremely comfortable and highly capable mouse, the MS-3 deserves serious consideration.

MadCatz M.O.U.S. 9 Review reported at 12:33 PM
category: Mice     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
Little features such as the extending palm rest, the snug little hide for the USB dongle, plug and play compatibility, easy to use software with a drag and drop interface, a handy carry pouch are just some of the features I love about this mouse and while it’s gaming performance isn’t incredible it’s certainly better than most and it’s nothing to worry about when you consider that this mouse is a solid performer in day-to-day tasks too, as some extreme mice can be a nightmare to live with outside of a gaming environment, that simply isn’t the case here.

Samsung 840 Pro & 840 Review reported at 12:25 PM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: X-bit labs
Article Quote:
Of course, it is the senior model, Samsung 840 Pro, which provokes the sensation. Based on MLC memory, it is definitely better than previous leaders in terms of speed. Thanks to its high-speed controller, it offers an impressive random read speed even at a short request queue, so it is superior to other SSDs under real-life desktop or notebook loads. Our testing shows that the Samsung 840 Pro is the fastest SATA 3 SSD available now. Added to this are its 5-year warranty, integrated AES-256 encryption and excellent software support. Of course, the Samsung 840 Pro is not cheap, but it is no more expensive than other flagship SSDs.

Zotac GeForce GTX TITAN AMP! Edition & TITAN 2-Way SLI Review reported at 12:19 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: X-bit labs
Article Quote:
As you can see, the pre-overclocked Zotac is 1.5 to 6% ahead, depending on the specific game, visual quality settings and resolution. That would be nice if this advantage came for free, but the extra speed will actually cost you an additional $150. Moreover, we couldn’t overclock our Zotac more than we had overclocked our reference GeForce GTX Titan from Nvidia. Overclocking depends on luck, though. That’s why we think that the Zotac GeForce GTX Titan AMP! Edition is a good product overall. It is extremely fast. It looks stylish just like any other Titan. It comes with rich accessories. And it is far from affordable. The choice is yours.

Seasonic X-1250 Review reported at 11:59 AM
category: Power Supplies     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
This part gets quite hot when high loads are applied over long time. This could end in an issue if you are running the PSU at full load/overload for a very long time at high ambient temperature. For lower loads this certainly causes no issues and we consider the SS-1250XM one of the most reliable PSUs for standard PCs with a long lifespan. Last but not least there is the fact that as a customer we would like to get more information from the specs about the rail design.

NZXT Sentry Mix 2 & Grid Review reported at 11:51 AM
category: Monitor Coolers     website: PureOverclock.com
Article Quote:
The NZXT Sentry Mix 2 when paired with the NZXT Grid is simply an excellent investment. The lighting is easy on the eyes, and the ability to change the lighting is a great addition. When you consider an MSRP of just $29.99 for the Sentry Mix 2 and an MSRP of only $11.99 for the NZXT Grid, it makes this the perfect purchase.

Nanoxia Deep Silence 2 Review reported at 11:37 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
When we reviewed the Deep Silence 1, it managed to impress, but with a price of 110 euros at the time of the review, things were not as clear cut as with the Deep Silence 2. This new case costs a whopping 30 euros less, but offers the same general features as the DS1 while only removing some flexibility with the hard drive cases and the air chimney. The lack of these features are no deal breakers, as you still get all the great build quality, three fans, the same two fan controllers, and full sound encapsulation / dampening. There are really very few drawbacks to the Deep Silence 2. I actually think that this is a nearly perfect chassis at a great price because it easily bests competing products on price while delivering more space and a well-rounded set of features. There would, if there are a few things one needs to gripe about, be the single USB 2.0 connector and the lack of a little bit more room behind the motherboard tray, but Nanoxia's Deep Silence 2 really seems to be on the right track with both price and feature set.
