DeepCool M6 Review reported at 11:05 AM
category: Cooling - Other     website: Pro-Clockers.com
Article Quote:
"The DeepCool M6 Gaming cool pad offer two really good purposes if you ask me. The first we will comment on is the audio. My initial thoughts on the audio before even trying it was that it would be less than mediocre quality and low sound level simply because this has been my experience with small speaker systems aimed at laptop users. To my surprise, this was not the case. The audio quality was superb than that of my Sony laptop. The high notes were well represented while the lows were a little lacking but not by much. Then the volume level was twice powerful than those of the laptop's default speakers. This was enough to conclude that the M6 is a great product because listening to music on my laptop was not really enjoyable."

Seagate Laptop Thin SSHD Review reported at 10:55 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: Hardware.Info
Article Quote:
If your desktop PC or laptop has two 2.5-inch slots (or a 2.5-inch and an mSATA slot) we would still recommend buying an SSD for your OS and software, and use a traditional hard disk for storage. However, if you only have a single slot and don't want to spend the money on an expensive 512 GB SSD, the Laptop This SSHD is a great solution that's not much more expensive than a normal 500 GB hard disk.

eVGA GeForce GTX 780 Superclocked ACX Review reported at 10:48 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
"If you can't afford the GTX 780, don't worry about it. The GTX 770 will be launching soon, and GeForce GTX 600 cards are still strong. It's not like the GTX 700 introduces features that you absolutely must have to be able to play the latest games. Most gamers will even have a great time with a $200 GTX 660 that can play all titles just fine at full HD. But you now have options that cost less than 1000 USD if you want more."

"Regarding the overall router performance, we have obtained decent speeds on the 2.4GHz band and very good results on the 5GHz band, which is considerably less congested. The speed measured between two wired stations is average."

Seagate Desktop HDD.15 Review reported at 10:20 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: Benchmark Reviews
Article Quote:
The 4TB Seagate Desktop HDD resists that forthcoming change, and its massive four-terabyte capacity paired to the future-proof SATA 6Gb/s interface will certainly help punctuate this. The affordable cost to capacity ratio puts the Desktop HDD series ahead of SSDs, while still offering respectable bandwidth performance speeds for modern computer systems.

iStarUSA BPU-340SATA Review reported at 10:07 AM
category: Storage Accessories     website: NikKTech
Article Quote:
"iStarUSA has packed the BPU-340SATA with quite a large number of useful features like the 4 power on/off buttons placed right next to each tray that also double as activity/temperature LEDs. These are very convenient not only because they can alert you whenever a drive goes over the temperature alarm preset you chose at the rear (50/55/60 degrees) but also because thanks to them you can be 100% certain that the drive you want to hot-swap is not powered on. The presence of both SATA and Molex power connectors means that the BPU-340SATA can be used with older power supply units as well. Much like the BPN-DE340SS the only issue we found with the BPU-340SATA was its rather high noise levels when the 80mm fan switch is set at high RPM but that's to be expected so we think that the low selection might be more ideal for most users."
