NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Review reported at 01:40 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Bjorn3D
Article Quote:
And yet again Nvidia dresses to impress with an amazing card with huge capability. This by far is the best sub-800 dollar single GPU card on the market today and even comes close to the $1000 GTX TITAN which is quite a feat alone. This shows that Nvidia knows what gamers wants and is willing to deliver in one awesome package with teh intro of the GK110 into the consumer lineup things just got really interesting. Add to this the idle low load power efficiency and the GTX 780 is set to be the new rockstar of high end gamers everywhere as AMD still is having a tough time pulling such numbers from their side of the fence although admittedly we have not seen the 8000 series crop up yet so we will have to just wait and see on that one.

eVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW Review reported at 01:38 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
If you are looking for a GTX 670 that features flexible options such as an extended warranty or the Step-Up program and a lot of free games in bundle, this is it! Furthermore this card still has a reasonable price point of 340 Euro. In comparison to the reference GTX 670, which goes for 312 Euro these days, you pay 28 Euro more and you get a really decent game bundle and a non reference PCB. The only downside really is the cooler, in that case you can spend 10 more bucks and get the Signature 2 version which is way cooler and more silent.

Asus GTX780-3GD5 Review reported at 11:19 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: ocaholic
Article Quote:
"NVIDIA’s brand new GeForce GTX 780 is quite a nice piece of hardware. This reference card gives you a good overview what to expect from the new GTX 780 series, which is basically a scaled down version of the GTX Titan. The twelve activated SMX units are able make the GTX 780 almost 30 percent faster than the GTX 680, which is actually quite something. On another notice you get the same PCB as well as the same cooler NVIDA also puts on the GeForce GTX Titan, this means, that this card is adequately equipped and the noise level is ok."

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Review reported at 11:13 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Techgage
Article Quote:
As it is, NVIDIA offers a very attractive offering with its GeForce GTX 780. While it’s carrying a $150 launch premium over last year’s GTX 680, it offers great performance, runs super-quiet even at full load, and has other niceties such as GPU Boost 2.0 with much improved variables for overclocking. It’s also the best-looking card (again, to me) ever produced, if that counts for anything.

OCZ Vertex 450 Review reported at 11:11 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
Back when OCZ launched the Vertex 3.20, I felt like they were just checking the 20nm box with an underperforming, low-cost SSD. Within a month, however, they flipped that around entirely by launching another 20nm SSD driven by their powerhouse Indilinx controller. The performance leads the pack, and now so does the price. So long as they can stay stocked at these prices, the Vertex 450 may very well become my default recommendation for an SSD.

OCZ Vertex 450 Review reported at 11:11 AM

The performance is good, as the combination of the slightly lower-clocked Barefoot 3 controller and 20 nm memory works well and provides consistent performance over time.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Review reported at 11:09 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Hardware.Info
Article Quote:
The Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 is a worthy successor to the GTX 680. That's a good thing, since Nvidia is also asking a lot more for the new card than the previous one. The recommended price for the GTX 780 will be about 650 euros. It will go down somewhat eventually, but the lack of any real competition and the fact that the GK110 GPU with its huge number of transistors is very expensive to produce, likely won't make it that much cheaper.

It is not hard to be impressed with the new Zotac GTX 780-card. It is a huge upgrade over the GTX 680 and, as expected by the hardware, is close to catching up with the GTX Titan. It is a silent card and NVIDIA:s various features like Boost 2.0 really enhances the function of the card.

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 780 Review reported at 10:35 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: HardwareHeaven
Article Quote:
"Due to the GPU used here being used previously on GTX Titan the GTX 780 could be viewed as something we have seen before but the exceptional balance of gaming performance and low noise operation plus the new lower price point for GK110 means this card is hugely desirable."

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Review reported at 10:31 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
NVIDIA's new GeForce GTX 780 is a much harder sell than any previous GeForce launch even though it isn't a bad card in any way. Is it faster than the GTX 680? Yes. Is it faster than the HD 7970? Yup. Is it less expensive than the GTX Titan? Indeed. Those answers, alone, will sell lots of them; but, it can't win the performance per dollar argument that even enthusiasts pay attention to.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Review reported at 10:29 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: HardwareCanucks
Article Quote:
All in all, the GTX 780 is exactly the card NVIDIA needed to release at this juncture. They have effectively bridged the gap between the GTX 680 and TITAN with a card that thoroughly outperforms the former and retails for significantly less than the latter. While its value ratio against lower end cards may not perfectly line up with everyone’s expectations, the GTX 780’s proximity to TITAN ensures enthusiasts can now get bleeding edge performance without having to shell out a thousand bucks.

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 680 AMP! Edition Review reported at 10:28 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: HardwareHeaven
Article Quote:
Overall the GTX 680 AMP! Edition was the faster of the two cards and it was very noticeable how quiet ZOTAC's new cooler was. It is one of the quietest custom high end coolers we have used to date and really was near silent until we paired two cards in SLI and the fans had to work that little bit harder to keep the system cooler with the extra heat generated inside it. As a side note we also like the use of a metal shroud on the cooler, it is always a better look and feel to a card when this approach is taken.

To round this review off, the GTX 780 brings high quality, high resolution gaming on a single screen to more people with a amazing price based on its near performance levels to Titan, if you think this is impressive, wait to see what else NVIDIA have in store for you, both on a software front, but also with the rest of the New GTX 700 series graphics cards.

Noctua Fan Roundup reported at 10:21 AM
category: Case Cooling Solutions     website: ThinkComputers
Article Quote:
Noctua is known as one of the elites in the PC cooling hardware community. They have multiple award winning products and are always at the top of the performance lists. For this grouping of fans I expected much of the same. Overall I do believe that Noctua delivers. The fans all come well packaged, with a great assortment of accessories, which is great if not a little expected. They are made of high quality plastics and their inner parts are designed to be just as nice. You can tell from the list of features just how much engineering and testing has gone into making these fans as quiet and efficient as possible. I truly do believe they deliver on that. Aside from the 140mm bequiet! fans I reviewed, and these more quiet still, I have not used anything even close. In summary these fans are a joy to install and use.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 SLI Review reported at 10:13 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
At $650, the GeForce GTX 780 is designed to make GTX TITAN owners want to kick themselves. At $1,300, for just 30% more than a TITAN, the GTX 780 SLI scores a healthy performance lead that makes spending the extra $299 worthwhile.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Windforce 3X Review reported at 10:12 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Guru3D
Article Quote:
If you opt the Gigabyte GTX 780 Windforce 3X OC edition, then you are in for a real treat. It's drop-dead silent and runs at Titan like performance (with small offsets here and there). Next to that there still remains to be room left for tweaking. Overall the product is just massively impressive and has great looks. As such we reward the Gigabyte GTX 780 Windforce 3X OC edition with our top pick award, well deserved. Nice job Gigabyte ! Once it is available in the stores then please be careful, there will be a normal and an OC edition, our sample is the GV-N780OC-3GD SKU.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Windforce 3X Review reported at 10:11 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
"When looking at the performance of the Gigabyte GTX 780 WindForce OC, we see performance that matches the GeForce GTX Titan. Compared to the GTX 780 reference design, the improvement is 7% on average and 11%(!) at 2560x1600. AMD's fastest single-GPU card, the HD 7970 GHz, is 27% slower—no danger at all. While AMD wants to put the HD 7990 on the performance throne, our own review shows that it is just not competitive enough, and also too expensive with $1049."

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Review reported at 10:04 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
Not long ago, people were shocked by the GTX Titan's massive $1000 pricing, and the GTX 780 isn't cheap either. NVIDIA's MSRP is $649, and I suspect we will see custom board designs above and below that mark (using cheaper coolers). $649 is definitely too high when looking at delivered performance. Using GTX 680 performance-per-dollar values, the card should cost $540 to match the GTX 670's price of $470. It would only cost $400 if it used the same price/performance level as the GTX 660 Ti. So, it's overpriced, we kinda all knew that, but will NVIDIA get away with it? Absolutely. Many people bought the GTX Titan after the outcry on GTX Titan pricing. They are extremely happy with the card. Countless forum reports are testament to that. These same people will now be sad as many fought with their wives/GFs/moms to buy a GTX Titan, because the GTX 780 offers pretty much the same performance at a lower price.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Review reported at 10:03 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Benchmark Reviews
Article Quote:
My conclusion: GeForce GTX 780 is essentially GTX TITAN Jr. NVIDIA's GeForce GTX TITAN was already a huge problem for the AMD Radeon series, since there's nothing to complete with it until much later in the year. Now GeForce GTX 780 arrives, and creates an additional layer of trouble for them when their technology finally catches up. Of course, just because GTX 780 gets a free pass doesn't mean it will be an instant winner. Gamers must have a reason to spend $650 on a video card, especially with so many other platform options coming to market soon. But for those who can pay the asking price, their reward is quite sweet indeed. GeForce GTX 780 delivers performance beyond expectations, and challenges game developers to build even more realism into their titles.

Combined with sheer silence and the overall brute performance to play any game to date with the very best image quality settings and high monitor resolutions the GeForce GTX 780 is a no-brainer no matter how you look at it. Especially since its so much cheaper then a Titan. We again take our hats off and bow to Nvidia on a mission accomplished. Well done!
