Low-Voltage Dual-Channel 8GB Memory Kit Roundup reported at 11:47 AM
category: DDR3 Memory     website: Tom's Hardware
Article Quote:
We finish with two top picks, Crucial Ballistix Tactical LP offering the best performance and G.Skill Sniper SR2 providing the best value. G.Skill also has the advantage of its stunningly-low 1.25 V baseline voltage, while Crucial has a much larger advantage in overclocking.

XFX Radeon HD 7790 Black Edition Review reported at 11:42 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Bjorn3D
Article Quote:
Overall XFX took a lower level midrange card, polished it like a diamond and made it have the body of a supercar so even the most entry uses can have one hell of a nice card in their right with the fit and finish normally reserved for the elite

A decent all round power supply at a very competitive price, but there are some superior 850watt units at the same price.

Cooler Master Storm QuickFire Rapid Review reported at 11:40 AM
category: Keyboards     website: Techgage
Article Quote:
It’s fun enough to use in games, though the weight of the Green switches do take a little bit of getting used to. In this usage scenario, you do notice the heavier actuation force required. I can’t say I felt any undue finger fatigue using the QuickFire Rapid in games, but then again I don’t spend extended hours just gaming the night away. For hour-long (or maybe even two hours) sessions, the Cherry MX Green-equipped QuickFire Pro is as good as any mechanical keyboard as I’ve used. I’m not a gamer who relies on macros at all, so I didn’t miss this functionality whatsoever. Just know beforehand that that particular arrow is not in this keyboard’s quiver.

Evercool Venti Review reported at 11:33 AM
category: CPU Coolers     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
Don't take it the wrong way, there's nothing really wrong with the Venti; it just doesn't seem to have a place on the market. If money is an issue, there are better and quieter coolers for around a similar price, and there are smaller coolers that better fit into tiny builds that perform better as well. This one gets a pretty resounding pass in my book; look elsewhere unless you really can't spare a couple dollars for a vastly superior cooler.

If you are in need of an air cooler that offers solid performance with low noise levels, the Phanteks PH-TC12DX could just be the thing, especially if you need a splash of color to liven things up in your PC.

Azza Silentium 920 Review reported at 11:24 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: ThinkComputers
Article Quote:
So this is AZZA’s take on a quiet case, did they succeed? Well yes and know. First off when in use this case is one of the quietest we have ever used. You can barely notice that it is on and the two 120mm fans are whisper quiet. But that is the thing right there, only two 120mm fans. That really is not enough cooling power for most systems. On top of that there really is not much room to upgrade besides the bottom fan slot. There is no room for front of top-mounted watercooling units. If you are going to be doing any sort of intensive tasks or gaming with your system expect this case to get pretty hot in the process.
