PQI Tiffy Review reported at 03:06 PM
category: Tape/Zip/Jaz Drives     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
"In the end, the drive is one of the few units out there with such a robust shape and implementation, especially for USB 3.0. These should be the key points of focus - speed is only secondary. When seen from this vantage point, the PQI Tiffany delivers."

NZXT Hale90 Review reported at 02:48 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: Pro-Clockers.com
Article Quote:
The HALE90 V2 is more than just a pretty face in the middle of a bunch of ugly ones. It is definitely a performer as well. With the series consisting of three high wattage models: 850W, 1000W and 1200W, you have more than enough stable power at your deposal for any multi-GPU setup. We tested the unit in our standard test bench to keep test consistent with other reviews but we did throw the unit in a triple Radeon we had on load and the unit passed flying colors.

Razer Ouroboros Review reported at 02:43 PM
category: Mice     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
To conclude, it’s hard to say that there is a better mouse than the Ouroboros out there. Its performance is simply flawless, especially for a wireless mouse. It’s one of a few mice that I have used that has actually changed the way I play and work (with Razer’s Naga Hex being up there with it). Sure there is a very steep price to pay (literally) for the performance increase, but at the end of the day you are getting a superb mouse that will not disappoint. It’s part of a select group of gaming mice that not only look amazing, but also function just as well. If costs could be reduced by not supplying it with fancy packaging, then it would be much more appealing to others, but if you have the cash and you’re in the market for a high performing, great looking and fully function mouse, then look no further than the Razer Ouroboros. So for all these reasons, I am happy to announce that the Razer Ouroboros will be walking away with our most prestigious award.

NVIDIA GTX TITAN vs. SLI & AMD Crossfire reported at 02:17 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: HardwareCanucks
Article Quote:
The products playing in this market may have changed and the game titles may look better than ever, but it feels like we’ve been down this road already. Crossfire is still riddled with stuttering and various other bugs while SLI has its own set of teething problems. This unfortunate situation leaves the TITAN’s position in the market relatively unscathed since it can deliver consistently high performance with none of the dual card solutions’ excess drama. Is that actually worth potentially hundreds of dollars more than a competing SLI or Crossfire setup with lower priced GPUs? For a discerning gamer with enough cash, absolutely.

Patriot Gauntlet Node Review reported at 02:01 PM
category: Tape/Zip/Jaz Drives     website: Big Bruin
Article Quote:
While the Gauntlet Node is a great device to have for daily usage or for traveling, there are a few enhancements that are necessary. On tablets with a SD card, the device should allow you to access those files. In addition, being able to connect to a WiFi network while connected to the Node is great, but don't forget about those hidden SSIDs. They need to be available as well. Finally, while it supports several codecs for streaming the files, it would be nice if it supported more. Also, while downloading the files from the Node to the mobile device is an option, large files can take some time.

MadCatz Cyborg F.R.E.Q. 5 Review reported at 01:57 PM
category: headsets     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
While our Gamer’s Choice Award would be very appropriate for this headset, given that the gaming scene is clearly its target audience, the all round performance for voice communications, music and movies, mobile compatibility and more go a long was to justifying why this is truly an Editor’s Choice Award worthy product.
