Nanoxia Deep Silence 2 Review reported at 11:24 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: NikKTech
Article Quote:
"With a price tag set at around 90Euros inside the EU (Nanoxia PC cases are still not available outside the EU) the Deep Silence 2 is a real bargain not only because of its very high build quality but also since it offers more interior space than most midi towers, excellent airflow potential (if all 8 fans are installed), dedicated 120/240mm radiator spot, completely tool-less design, built-in 2-channel fan controller and excellent noise insulation. The only real issue is its availability outside from the EU something that we hope will get resolved soon. That aside the Deep Silence 2 follows the successful example of the original Deep Silence 1 and that's why it gets our Golden Award."

Samsung 840 Pro Review reported at 11:20 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: Real World Benchmarks
Article Quote:
Samsung has out done themselves with the 512GB 840 Pro. This is the fastest MLC based drive we’ve tested to date. Performance with data on the drive is what separates this large capacity solid state drive from the rest of the pack. The 512GB 840 Pro is the only large capacity drive we’ve ever tested that does not take a large performance hit when populated with data. The 512GB 840 Pro is a perfect marriage of performance and capacity and is a drive you must own if you want to own the best. The $500 price tag is admittedly a little steep but in this case you get what you pay for.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Preview reported at 10:50 AM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Tom's Hardware
Article Quote:
We appreciate Nvidia’s continued attention to acoustics. We’re glad to see the GeForce GTX Titan exhausting all of its hot air. And as you’ll see in a couple of days, there’s a lot to like about this card’s performance. Our beef is with its stratospheric price tag, which limits the Titan to small form factor gaming boxes and multi-card configurations in ultra-high-end PCs. Most enthusiasts will rightly balk at this card. But if you’re in its target demographic, the GeForce GTX Titan is essentially unrivaled.

Cooler Master CM Storm Stryker Review reported at 10:45 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: APH Networks
Article Quote:
This case is still a tough beast with an easy to hold handle at the top. Its large internals, easily adjustable fan speeds, and removable dust filters already prove why this case is more than sufficient for an enthusiast. However, there are a few downfalls.

Corsair Neutron GTX Review reported at 10:41 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: Techgage
Article Quote:
Corsair has differentiated itself in the SSD market. No longer is it going to compete amongst a litany of similar rebadged SSD clones, but instead, the company decided to rise above the crowd by creating an SSD featuring an unheard-of controller that can offer performance equal to the best SSDs out there. Even better, with Corsair reportedly signing an exclusive deal, it has ensured the Neutron series will be the only SSDs of its type on the market for some time. We have to give Corsair mad props for such a bold move, but it clearly has worked. And in a just-as-gutsy a move, Corsair decided to stand by this new SSD by including a full five-year warranty on all Neutron and Neutron GTX models. With that in mind, and with the surprisingly competitive pricing, we have to give Corsair an Editor’s Choice award for its Neutron GTX. Sometimes being bold can be a good thing.

Fractal Design Node 304 Review reported at 10:39 AM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: Benchmark Reviews
Article Quote:
I respect what Fractal Design has accomplished with the Node 304. The overall quality and the astonishing amount of space for high-end components really impressed me compared to many other enthusiast-class ITX enclosures on the market. If you like the style, it looks even better in person. In its category, and especially due to the types of builds this case will accomodate well, I feel Fractal Design deserves the Golden Tachometer award for their Node 304.

Sapphire Vapor-X Review reported at 10:35 AM
category: CPU Coolers     website: PureOverclock.com
Article Quote:
This was a pretty good first attempt at a CPU cooler from Sapphire, but the performance could have been better for the price. There are less expensive coolers on the market that perform better, but the TRON-style lighting could appeal to many.

Zowie AM Review reported at 10:34 AM
category: Mice     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
While there may be better mice on the market for this price range, it would only be as a matter of preference. There is a lot of choice on the market these days but not a lot of choice for the ambidextrous user and when it comes to the Zowie AM I struggle to think of any other product that offers the same high quality feel, build quality and rock solid performance in this category for around the same price. I highly recommend you check out the AM, even if you’re not ambidextrous, which is why I’m happy to award it with our eTeknix Editor’s Choice Award.
