be quiet Shadow Rock TopFlow Review reported at 03:49 PM
category: CPU Coolers     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
The Be Quiet! Shadow Rock TopFlow is stuck between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand its much better than most “Top-Down” coolers yet because it’s so tall its almost pushing into tower heatsink territory. This contradicts the “Top-Down” philosophy which is to save vertical space and it makes the average cooling performance unacceptable because it doesn’t have those large height savings to compensate.

Intel Core i5-3350P Review reported at 03:46 PM
category: Intel Socket 1155 CPUs     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
"Intel's Core i5-3350P is a fantastic processor that is able to compete with AMD's parts in terms of performance while vastly undercutting them on the power consumption side. Without the inclusion of the integrated HD 4000 or HD 2500 graphics, this processor is aimed only at users that are looking to add a discrete card to their system for gaming, etc."

Avexir Core DDR3-1600 2x4GB Kit Review reported at 03:43 PM
category: DDR3 Memory     website: Pro-Clockers.com
Article Quote:
"If you are on a budget but still looking for headroom to overclock some, then you may want to take a look at the various Core series kits from Avexir. This reviewed 1600MHz 8GB kit sells for about $43 from places like Newegg. However, the really nice thing about these is that despite it's low price you are able to get clocks well above 2200 MHz, while not needing in excess of 1.65 volts. This is definitely peace of mine for anyone worried about damaging your CPU."

Fractal Design Node 605 Review reported at 03:28 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
While it’s not the cheapest HTPC chassis on the market, it was never intended to be. It does however offer faultless build quality that makes it worth every penny and unless you didn’t like its visual appearance there is no reason why you wouldn’t want this as part of you media centre which I why I am happy to award it with our eTeknix Editors Choice Award.

Fractal Design Node 605 Review reported at 03:03 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: Hardware.Info
Article Quote:
"If the price drops somewhat, we would recommend the Node 605 without any reservations to anyone building a powerful HTPC, even though it requires a screw driver for installation. Even so and at its current price, it earns the Hardware.Info Silver Award."

ECS A85F2-A Golden Review reported at 01:16 PM
category: AMD Socket FM2 Motherboards     website: Techware Labs
Article Quote:
"Overall I have mixed feelings about the ECS A85F2-A Golden motherboard. On one hand you get the flashy looks, lots of room to expand, and a UEFI with adjustable overclocking settings. Unfortunately though there were a few critical issues such as the wonky CPU voltage adjustment and the fact that when you manually change the multiplier throttling is disabled."

Kingwin Power Force PF-850 Review reported at 01:08 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
The Kingwin Power Force 850 W has several good attributes; its voltage regulation, efficiency, and the long warranty period are the most important of them. It is a real shame that the ripple suppression on its +12V rail spoils the PF-850's overall impression, at least for me. It, nevertheless, still manages a decent spot on our performance-per-dollar chart.

Cooler Master CM Storm Stryker Review reported at 12:57 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: MadShrimps
Article Quote:
The CM Storm Stryker is a sightly updated version of the previously launched CM Storm Trooper, which did not feature a side window and is only available on white. The eSATA port is not available anymore on the Stryker, but most of the other features are still present like a robust carrying handle, dust filters, fan controller with LED controls, external 2.5'' hot-swap dock and two big HDD cages.

Western Digital RE4 Review reported at 12:52 PM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: HardwareCanucks
Article Quote:
The Western Digital RE 4TB’s large capacity, advanced data protection features and relative efficiency make it one of the best options currently available. However, this focus makes it a rather poor choice for mass market users who want a massive amount of storage space. If you are looking for one of the best 7200RPM hard drives for RAID environments and can afford the rather steep asking price, the RE deserves to be on the short list for consideration.

BitFenix Ghost Review reported at 12:19 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
Overall I really like what BitFenix has done in terms of design on the Ghost, while at first glance the chassis appeared fairly featureless and if I’m honest, a little boring, that really isn’t the case. The front panel is well designed and the dual hinge design is interesting, if a little pointless. The air filter design allows for some of the easiest access I’ve seen on a chassis, plus the mesh finish fits nicely with the overall style of the rest of the chassis.
