HIS Radeon HD 7750 IceQ X Turbo Review reported at 02:17 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
"The HIS HD 7750 IceQ X Turbo is an evolutionary upgrade to the AMD reference HD 7750. Instead of a single slot design which uses PCI-E slot power only, HIS has put a bigger dual slot cooler on the card and added a 6-pin power connector for improved power delivery. These changes enabled HIS to ship the card with a 100 MHz overclock on the GPU, which translates into a 7% performance improvement in our testing. Unfortunately memory is not overclocked, which would have provided easy extra performance gains. Don't expect any miracles though, the HD 7700-class cards are designed for entry-level gaming at lower resolutions and reduced details settings. Gaming at 1680x1050 should be ok, but full HD gaming will be too slow."

Xigmatek Centauro 600W Review reported at 12:59 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: NikKTech
Article Quote:
"Perhaps if i was Xigmatek I’d choose to lower the price a bit to avoid going up against other similar solutions from the leading manufacturers in the market but even so the price is not bad. Long story short if you're out to buy a new power supply unit then i really suggest taking a look at the Centauro XTK-CB-0600M 600W since it basically offers a very good punch for the buck."

SilverStone SFX ST45SF-G Review reported at 12:40 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
The SilverStone ST45SF-G is a good SFX form factor power supply. It has many of the features that you would expect from larger ATX enthusiast PSUs like a painted chassis and modular, sleeved cables. The power supply delivered very good voltage regulation with good efficiency and maintained relatively clean outputs across a wide range of loads. The ST45SF-G also comes with both EPS12V and PCI-E connectors, which typically aren't found on a small SFX form factor PSU. If you are in the market for a solid 450W PSU for a SFF build, the new SilverStone ST45SF-G deserves a very close look!

Sapphire Pure Platinum A85XT Review reported at 12:39 PM
category: AMD Socket FM2 Motherboards     website: Hardware.Info
Article Quote:
When we put the four tested Socket FM2 motherboards side-by-side, our earlier conclusion still stands. In this price segment around £105, the Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-UP4 offers the largest number of extra features is the cheapest out of the four motherboards. The MSI FM2-A85XA-G65 offers the most to hardcore overclockers with the voltage measuring points and it's the most energy-efficient board, but it has few features and lower voltages. The Sapphire is a fine motherboard, but doesn't really stand out compared to the others.

Corsair AX860i Review reported at 12:36 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: HardwareHeaven
Article Quote:
As far as value goes, there is little to fault Corsair on. We get a unit which arrives with a good selection of cables/connectors, ties, badge and two pouches. The 7-year warranty adds value also and the price point is appropriate to the quality and performance of the unit.

Corsair Obsidian 550D Review reported at 12:25 PM
category: Computer Cases/Enclosures     website: ThinkComputers
Article Quote:
Corsair just keeps on impressing me with their cases. This is the 4th Corsair case I have reviewed and I would recommend all of them. That really says a lot about Corsair and what they have set out to do when they announced they were going to be making other products besdies just memory.

PNY XLR8 PRO Review reported at 11:53 AM
category: SATA Hard Drives     website: Benchmark Reviews
Article Quote:
"XLR8 PRO's 2nd-generation LSI/SandForce SF-2281 SSD controller delivered performance among the fastest SATA-based storage solutions we've tested, but like many hardware enthusiasts I am more concerned about solid state drive durability. Of the SSDs that have failed on me in the past, most problems occur after the product warranty expires. PNY's standard three years product warranty is better than most, especially since most failures occur in the first year, but by merely registering your solid state product it receives an extended five-year warranty. For its top-level performance, reasonable price, and 5-year extended product warranty, the PNY XLR8 PRO solid state drive series earns our Golden Tachometer Award for excellence."

Cooler Master CM Storm Recon Review reported at 11:38 AM
category: Mice     website: OCModShop
Article Quote:
While I spent a good deal of time picking nits with some of its features, the Storm Recon is a far cry better than other gaming mice in its price range ($39.99). It is light, has a comfortable grip, and if you don’t mind disabling the mirrored buttons then it will serve you well. And it looks cool as hell.
