MSI GeForce GTX 650 Ti Power Edition Review reported at 05:12 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Overclockers Club
Article Quote:
"The only thing holding this card back potentially is pricing. It looks like it is priced against the 7770, which is superior, whereas the 7750 would be closer to equal. The AMD cards can Crossfire whereas the NVIDIA cards are not SLI compatible. If a sale, game bundle, or price adjustment occurs this could be more competitive even. The card itself ran great!"

Seasonic X-1250 Review reported at 01:29 PM
category: Power Supplies     website: PC Perspective
Article Quote:
"Like it’s X-Series predecessors, the new Seasonic X-1250 power supply incorporates several significant advances in PC power supply design that result in excellent performance, high efficiency and the ability to operate in silent-fanless mode at lower power levels. Add to that an excellent assortment of all modular cables, tight voltage regulation, clean DC outputs and you have one very good power supply. As you might expect, a premium 1250 watt PSU is not going to be inexpensive and I was a little disappointed that Seasonic didn’t back the X-1250 with the same 7-year warranty they gave the Platinum 1000W PSU; but I guess that is one of the differentiators between X-Series Gold and Platinum Series. If you are in the market for a high-output power supply, the X-1250 deserves to be at the top of your shopping list."

EK Water Blocks H3O 360 HFX Review reported at 12:59 PM
category: CPU Coolers     website: ThinkComputers
Article Quote:
"It’s a heftier price tag than buying a closed loop cooler, but it’s also a ton more flexible, quieter, prettier, and, ultimately better than any other solution. That $349 will give you everything you need, and if you need to add additional waterblocks or radiators (etc) later, you can do that with absolutely zero issues.. simply drain your loop and add them in."

ASRock Z77 OC Formula Review reported at 12:46 PM
category: Socket 1155 Motherboards     website: techPowerUp!
Article Quote:
The ASRock Z77 OC Formula feels like a high-end $300+ product. It sells for $239.99 right this second and is widely available. This board is a steal with that price in mind, and if you want to overclock, really overclock, this board is your only choice. It WILL give you better clocks than nearly any other board out there. If you are a 24/7 user, this board has a lot to offer as well, more so than some others. This board is really good, but, in the end, it is just not my personal cup of tea. It is not for new users unless they want to jump into system tweaking right away, and if so, they best be prepared for a quick and short education. Yet, at the same time, it's pretty forgiving when you do get things wrong. It is great, but it sacrifices too much to be able to excel at anything other than that which appeals to the real die-hard enthusiast. Meanwhile, this board is a real engineering marvel.

GeIL EVO VELOCE DDR3-2133 2x8GB Kit Review reported at 12:44 PM
category: DDR3 Memory     website: MadShrimps
Article Quote:
With the EVO VELOCE GeIL has created an impressive kit, that besides being well balanced at stock speeds, has got more than enough headroom to push that little bit more. Pretty Hardcore results in my book if i compared it to other 4GB dimms we have here at the [M]Lab. If high quantity is a must and future upgradability to even more GB's is on the top of your priority list then check out these VELOCE kits. The boxed XMP settings are well balanced and the achieved tweaking resulted in minor improvements. A perfect indication that the GeIL engineers did their homework. Hence why the Madshrimps crew happily award this Evo Veloce kit the performance award :)
