Article Quote:
The MSI GeForce GTX 660 was VERY cool and quiet during operation compared to the Palit GeForce GTS 450. After benchmarking the MSI GeForce GTX 660 and Palit GeForce GTS 450 using 8 demanding game benchmarks the MSI GeForce GTX 660 finished 19% faster than the Palit GeForce GTS 450 which was impressive. The MSI GeForce GTX 660 was also 56% more energy efficent than the Palit GeForce GTS 450 which was also impressive. Here is more good news because although the MSI GeForce GTX 660 costs 13% more than the Palit GeForce GTS 450 it gives you 19% more performance for your money so it's also good value for money.

Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 FleX GHz Edition Review reported at 12:49 PM
category: Game Accelerator Cards     website: Pro-Clockers.com
Article Quote:
Chances are the main reasons for buying a card like the Sapphire Radeon FleX 7770 is because of its abilities to take three regular DVI monitors and use the well-known Eyefinity technology. This will definitely enhance the gaming experience but feel it is better suited for productivity when using all three monitor as the performance in may not be quite up to snuff at higher setting so scaling back on them will help with the frames per second. If you are looking to turn up the settings and still wanting the FleX feature looking at the Sapphire Radeon 7950 maybe a good option. If using the card in a one monitor setup we saw the card perform very well and worthy of playing games at a much higher level than with three monitors. If I was in the market for a card to put into a nice business machine where I need a lot of surface for data this would be the card.

Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo 6990 Review reported at 12:38 PM
category: Video Card Coolers     website: eTeknix.com
Article Quote:
"In our opinion Arctic have created the best solution to the hot and noisy HD 6990, that does not require the excesses, risk, hassle and expense of a water cooling set up. In that sense this is one of the most innovative VGA coolers we have ever seen. Issues with the VRM cooling and the fact that this cooler doesn’t support its own weight very well stopped this cooler from snatching the Editor’s Choice award. Though we are still very impressed with this offering from Arctic and we look forward to similar product from them if AMD ever gets around the releasing the HD 7990."

The Sapphire HD7770 GHZ FleX Edition is targeting not only the enthusiast gamer on a budget, but a workstation user who needs to power three or more screens without spending a fortune on a high powered discrete solution. In this regard, the FleX Edition is a success and worthy of the asking price. If you need to power three non DisplayPort screens and yearn for the legendary AMD image quality then this is surely very tempting indeed.

Article Quote:
"MSI told me they were sure the Big Bang Z77 Mpower would impress me, and I must admit that, overall, it did. There are few things here that MSI could quite easily improve upon. If you bought an MSI Ligtning HD 7970 or GTX 680, there's really no doubt which board you should be using - this one."
