| NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 Review reported at 12:08 PM |
| category: Game Accelerator Cards website: Guru3d |
 | Article Quote: Well, let me round it up -- all variables are right -- performance, quality - heat levels - power consumption -- noise levels. The one disconcerting factor really is the very steep price level for the GeForce GTX 690. But this is the uber-enthusiast segment versus a limited volume product. The cards would sell even if NVIDIA priced them 2000 USD -- much like extreme sport-cars people will spend the extra dough for it. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |

The GeForce GTX 690 not only performs in terms of framerate, but also performs in terms of thermals, TDP, acoustics, and aesthetics. This is the "most perfect" dual-GPU video card we've ever experienced. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |

| category: Game Accelerator Cards website: Benchmark Reviews |
 | Article Quote: In conclusion, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 has dramatically surpassed all graphics cards on the market and could be the top contender for much longer than we expect. AMD has been forced to show their hand, and I expect the Radeon HD 7990 to surface sometime soon. Yet, even if AMD manages to double the performance of a single Radeon HD 7970, it still won't surpass GTX 690 frame rates and will still lack the thermal performance, quiet acoustics, and FXAA/TXAA post-processing. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |

 | Article Quote: With a card of this nature you know it is going to carry a steep price tag. There is no way around it as we have seen in the past with dual GPU cards costing nearly as much or more as the $999 entry point for the GTX 690. It's not cheap or even close but the performance delivered speaks for itself. In the end it all comes together with NVIDIA hitting a home run as it did with the GTX 680, delivering the ultimate gaming gear for the gamer that has to have the best card on the market to run the highest resolutions and detail levels while enjoying all the NVIDIA ecosystem has to offer. It's got great performance to go with the great looks. What more is there to say. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |

| category: Game Accelerator Cards website: Neoseeker |
 | Article Quote: Overall, the GTX 690 is hands down the best-of-the-best. It offers best-in-class performance, noise and thermal levels, and is extremely efficient considering the raw gaming power. It is also designed for Surround and 3D Surround technologies, being the only single PCB solution available that can play any game at 5760x1080 without stutter. However, at $1000 it is an exclusive and expensive product, but if you have the means to enter the club, you won’t be disappointed. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |

| category: Game Accelerator Cards website: techPowerUp! |
 | Article Quote: Now the bad news. The card will cost $999, which is exactly twice the price of a single GTX 680. Ok, so GPU, memory and voltage circuitry are duplicated, but the PCB and cooler is not. On the other hand, the card does many things better than two GTX 680s, so the high price might be justified for some. Also seeing GTX 680 being constantly sold out, I wonder if it wouldn't have been better to make two gamers happy by using the GTX 690 GPUs to produce more GTX 680s, or does a single ultra-happy gamer count more? For NVIDIA the choice seems clear, as they are making less money on two GTX 680 sales than on a single GTX 690 sale. I'm also wondering what happened to AMD's HD 7990, which was expected for early May, but there hasn't been a word on that from AMD. I seriously doubt that they can match the whole package that NVIDIA offers with the GeForce GTX 690, so the only hope is that the HD 7990 will bring some price competition to the ultra-high end gaming segment. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |

| category: Game Accelerator Cards website: PC Perspective |
 | Article Quote: The new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 4GB dual-GPU Kepler graphics cards is easily the fastest and highest performing gaming solution on the market. As we often state here, if you have the money to spend, this is the place to do it - a $1000 GPU is going to net you a better improvement in gaming experience than a $1000 CPU, that's for sure. By combining a pair of GK104 parts on a single PCB, and constructing an incredibly sexy cooler to go along with it, NVIDIA has crowned a new king. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |

| category: Video Card Coolers website: X-bit labs |
 | Article Quote: The Arctic Accelero S1 PLUS has lived up to our expectations, effectively cooling a rather hot graphics card (with its GPU overclocked to 1.1 GHz) in fanless mode. When equipped with the Turbo Module, the Accelero S1 PLUS is head above any reference GPU cooler in efficiency and quietness. | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 Review reported at 10:47 AM |
| category: Game Accelerator Cards website: X-bit labs |
 | Article Quote: Nvidia GeForce GTX 690 2x2 GB is the world’s fastest graphics accelerator being as much as 95% faster than the today’s flagship single-GPU Nvidia product – GeForce GTX 680 2 GB. The new Nvidia creation boasts mind-blowing performance, which is so incredibly high that it simply makes no sense to invest in this card unless your monitor supports resolutions above 1920x1080. And in 2560x1600 resolution, which is currently the highest resolution possible (on single-monitor configurations), GeForce GTX 690 will deliver comfortable gaming experience in any contemporary game even with enable antialiasing. And this performance won’t be excessive in such games as Metro 2033: The Last Refuge or Total War: Shogun 2. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |

| category: Socket 2011 Motherboards website: X-bit labs |
 | Article Quote: As a result, even though MSI X79A-GD65 (8D) was shooting for potential leadership, it is, in fact, a rather mediocre product. Frankly speaking, this mainboard as well as its owners deserve a much better BIOS, which will undoubtedly turn things around for MSI X79A-GD65 (8D). | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |

 | Article Quote: The GTX 690 may be the fastest graphics card around but it is also completely unaffordable for anyone without very deep pockets or a nice trust fund. Yet for those that can afford it, the GTX 690 is the pinnacle of uncompromising graphics card design. It delivers unheard of performance and stretches our expectations of what’s possible in the GPU market. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |
| Zalman Z11 Plus Review reported at 10:36 AM |
| category: Computer Cases/Enclosures website: HardwareLook |
 | Article Quote: To conclude, the Zalman Z11 is a very good case for the targeted mid-range gamers. It is able to house the largest of hardware components, and looks great while doing it. Aesthetics of a gaming or just PC case is always a very personal preference, so I am going to let you make your own mind up on whether you find the Zalman Z11 appealing. However, this case gets our approval from us for users. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |
| RaidMax Seiran Review reported at 10:34 AM |
| category: Computer Cases/Enclosures website: ThinkComputers |
 | Article Quote: Overall the Raidmax Seiran is a pretty decent case. While it’s not my first choice in terms of cases, it certainly can appeal to a wide audience. It’s available in multiple colors and can is easily adaptable to most setups. While it doesn’t fit well with large height CPU coolers, it does offer a wide range of cooling options from the three included fans to the largely mesh design. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |
| ASUS HD 7870 DCUII TOP vs. XFX R7870 Black Edition Review reported at 10:31 AM |
| category: Game Accelerator Cards website: t-break |
 | Article Quote: Between the two of them, the ASUS HD 7870 DCUII TOP has the XFX R7870 BE beat in every category. It requires lesser power, runs cooler, has higher factory speeds, and outperforms the XFX R7870 at both stock and overclocked speeds. And as meaningless as it is, the XFX comes with useless papers, the ASUS cards has a few more useful accessories. So if you’re in the market for an HD 7870, the ASUS HD 7870 DirectCUII TOP is pretty much the weapon of choice. | | more info:·product info ·more p/reviews |

| category: CPU Coolers website: Frosty Tech |
 | Article Quote: The competition in the tower cooler arena has intensified in the last couple months, so it's evident from the above reference charts that there are several other heatsinks which perform a little cooler and a little quieter. Of the heatsinks less than 153mm tall, only the Noctua NH-C14, Tuniq Tower 120 extreme and 3RSystem Ice Age Boss II yield both quieter and cooler results though. | | more info:·product info |
