"The Intuos 3 6X8 tablet is highly recommended for all professional artist and designers. It’s a good size that is neither too big or small to work on (both on your desk or on your desktop). Its sleek and compact design (about the width and height of a 15” laptop and only ˝ inch thick) makes it easily transportable for those who work on their laptops or are on the go, as well as making it very unobtrusive on any desk or workspace. At about $330 USD, it may be a bit steep for a novice but for any professional user, it is well worth the money and will easily pay for itself by increasing your productivity, ease and the sheer number of brushes that are created to take advantage of the pressure/tilt sensitivity of the tablet, and streamlining your workflow."

"With the introduction of the Intuos3, Wacom has taken user suggestions and built upon that. The improved resolution of the product was apparant especially in programs such a Photoshop which could take full advantage of the 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity. it's hard to describe the impact of the increased resolution, but I'd have to say that it was characterized by an even greater level of smoothness."
