"At the listed price of $299 at the time of publication we found the Toughpower to be in line with other power supplies of the same wattage yet providing as tight a voltage regulation as this reviewer has ever seen. Having kept a data base of PSU for comparison I flipped through it and the Toughpower has the tightest voltage regulation of any Power Supply I've ever had the pleasure of testing. I would seriously recommend the Thermaltake Toughpower 1000 Watt Modular Cable Management to anyone needing high wattage and tight Voltage regulation to drive that massive machine (and investment) they've so lovingly built up."
"The Toughpower 1200W Power Supply has both stability and silence, features Active PFC and up to 87% efficiency. It has a modular design and support for 8-Pin PCI-Express as well as four independent +12V rails."
"Really there is not much to complain about with this unit and if I had to find something it would be price. At around $189 the unit is up against a lot of competition. There are a lot of good PSU's at that range and below with around the same power output. Granted not all of them are necessarily any good. The thing that really puts the Thermaltake over the top is the modular cabling. If you have ever used a modular power supply you know that it is worth a little extra cost. If you'd rather trade up for some more power or modular doesn't matter to you then I can totally understand. All in all the Toughpower 750 is a great unit and was a pleasure to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who was in need a of a PSU as a replacement, upgrade or for a new build."
"The Thermaltake Toughpower 750W cable management is one of best viable options for high end computing if you can afford it. Good looks, quiet operation, modular cables, and solid power for SLI and CrossFire setups - that about sums it up."
"The Thermaltake Toughpower Cable Management 1350W power supply delivered very good efficiency and easily met the 80 PLUS Silver certification criteria, even when operating at higher, real-world operating temperatures. It also delivered very good voltage regulation with clean DC outputs. The Toughpower 1350W PSU includes an excellent assortment of fixed and modular cables with up to eight PCI-E connectors and comes with a 5-year warranty."
