THE GOOD: Stable and fast. CrossFire works much better this generation.SUMMARY: Was surprised that the onboard audio sounded great on this board, as I've had problems in the past with audio quality crackling etc.
Does what I need it to - works great!
Nice little touches as well, including the BIOS screen with the inclusion of Ruby etc. The BIOS is very advanced, maybe too much for what I need, but you can't complain about that.
Overclocking was solid, and I was able to push 380Mhz with my Athlon X2. My next task is to get higher performance DDR2, probably will take a look at the ATI branded OCZ memories (if they are available at DDR2-6400).
Would have liked a PCI slot if I ever wanted to add a PCI card - but not really an issue now for me. I figure everything will be PCIE anyways in the future so I guess this will change anyhow.
Overall a solid board - stable and fast with CrossFire! |
