"Personally, I don't feel the Ouroboros is one of those mice that you can recommend. Not in the sense of "its not worth it," rather in the sense of "it's not for everyone." Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed using the Ouroboros; it just hasn't become my daily driver yet. Perhaps the Lamborghini influence extends a little deeper here as well: much like a Lamborghini comes with its own set of new problems (Poor roads? High curbs? Expensive maintenance? High gas consumption? Are any of these really negatives in context?) the Ouroboros is best employed by someone that is willing to take the bad with the good. I'm not sure if that makes it a bad mouse. I guess what I am trying to say here is this: you already know if you want one. For those of you that do, it won't be a perfect or a cost-effective experience - but it'll probably be worth it."
"To conclude, it’s hard to say that there is a better mouse than the Ouroboros out there. Its performance is simply flawless, especially for a wireless mouse. It’s one of a few mice that I have used that has actually changed the way I play and work (with Razer’s Naga Hex being up there with it). Sure there is a very steep price to pay (literally) for the performance increase, but at the end of the day you are getting a superb mouse that will not disappoint. It’s part of a select group of gaming mice that not only look amazing, but also function just as well. If costs could be reduced by not supplying it with fancy packaging, then it would be much more appealing to others, but if you have the cash and you’re in the market for a high performing, great looking and fully function mouse, then look no further than the Razer Ouroboros. So for all these reasons, I am happy to announce that the Razer Ouroboros will be walking away with our most prestigious award."
"A mouse which offers a high level of customisation, great build quality and stand out appearance. The sensor technology ensures we get great performance and a good software suite rounds off a great product."
"With Ouroboros, Razer impresses us thanks to the unique design, customizable body for achieving optimal ergonomics and high performance sensors. The materials used are of good quality and slick PTFE feet ensure smooth gliding on almost any surface."
