"In conclusion, the OCZ Reaper HPC PC2-9200 DDR2 1150MHz RAM kit offers hardware enthusiasts a great value at 5.72MHz/$1.00. The overclock is not going to set records, but if you are willing to assign an Enhanced Performance Profile you can still take advantage of low latency and tighter timings. Additionally, if you are the extreme overclocking type, the copper heatpipe cooling system is going to open some doors to over-voltage cooling that don't exist anywhere else."
"If you're looking for DDR2 memory modules that can do at least 1150MHz the Reaper HPC PC2-9200 memory kit from OCZ is a good choice. The modules are fast, stable and have an exclusive design. DDR2 memory prices dropped a lot recently and you can now find these modules for about $140 which is very reasonable. How high you'll be able to overclock your modules will vary a lot - I found the overclocking headroom of my modules was a bit limited as I could only overclock them 38MHz to 1188MHz. Not bad but some people managed to reach clockspeeds of more than 1275MHz with these modules. If you buy the Reaper HPC PC2-9200 memory kit you'll be sure it can do 1150MHz but anything above that is uncertain. If you're lucky it may achieve more than 1250MHz but it's also possible you'll only get 30-40MHz higher than the advertised speed. Besides high speeds the modules I tested could also run at tight timings at 800MHz - they did 3-3-3-8 without a problem."
"All in all, these are great modules and at just under £150 for a two gigabyte package they are also really good value for money. This kit with 2T timings will outperform anything I have used to this point. That said, if I was running them at 1150mhz+ I would most certainly invest in a 92mm or 120 mm fan mounted on a Zalman swinging arm, placed over the modules as they can tend to get a little hot. It is a shame OCZ haven't decided to supply a system similar to Corsair's Airflow as it really does help keep the modules cool."
"This memory comes recommended for high-end enthusiast platform with for example NVIDIA's 680i nForce series. On that topic, for those interested, the memory is SLI (EPP) memory capable. meaning that if you enabled it in the mainboard BIOS the memory will automatically be configured optimally. Just make sure your system is capable of utilizing the memory frequency."
"If you are looking for a great set of DDR2 for your box, this OCZ 9200 Reaper would be a great addition. It performs average at DDR800 speeds, but increasing it to its rated DDR1150 and it just soars! On top of that, you get a little extra performance with the ability to overclock. The Reaper will be the death of your poor memory performance!"
