"...we were very satisfied with the OCZ PC2-9200 FlexXLC memory series. The product does work as advertised and with the proper motherboard/memory voltage, can boost an additional 50Mhz for your overclocking needs. The retail price is considered "low" for this type of unique product."

"The OCZ DDR2 PC2-9200 FlexXLC Edition memory is easily the best DDR2 memory we have seen to date. When using a 390MHz front side bus with a reduced processor clock multiplier of 8x, the FlexXLC was able to operate at 1170MHz while maintaining complete stability. Therefore this PC2-9200 FlexXLC memory is quite simply the best memory we have come across for overclocking. However, how you define what makes for the best overclocking memory, will determine if the FlexXLC is the best memory for you."

"If I do have to be picky, I would've liked to see some more support on the water-cooling front. OCZ clearly made a decision about the diameter of the tubing for the memory, a decision that renders these sticks unsuitable for out of the box water-cooling setups, at least for most enthusiasts. I would've liked a bigger, more common diameter of 3/8" on the heat spreaders, or alternatively some adapter or clamping system to make things a little easier. Of course, one can argue that you can never do "good" for every cooling system out there, and probably the choice for the 1/4" diameter has a background we don't know about. But other than this minor drawback, I absolutely love this memory. Even if you could find some faster memory kit out there, you'll have to look hard, and be lucky."

"OCZ did an excellent job on the PC2-9200, it ran at up to 1250MHz without even water cooling! These are simply insane speeds that far exceed any spec that you would have believed even half a year ago. The natural comparison of the Flex XLC would be Corsair's high performance Dominator series. If OCZ was going for a "bigger is better" approach, then they certainly came out on top. The giant OCZ XLC heatspreaders "out-dominate" the Corsair Dominator's impressive looks, and the PC2-9200 out-overclock the XMS2's too."

"The PC2-9200 FlexXLC really shined in our testing here today, making it the fastest memory we have tested to date. Everything about this memory is likable: great looks, a unique design that offers two methods of cooling, great default performance and most importantly, a good deal of headroom for overclocking! During testing, the modules never got above luke-warm to the touch (granted, I do have good case cooling; results may vary with sub-par case airflow). The ability to watercool the memory right out of the package is nice, but of course not necessary. I highly doubt that liquid cooling these modules would result in any higher clock speeds. Top end overclock results (1240 MHz @ default timings) were pretty impressive, but what really had me floored was the ability to tighten these modules all the way down to 3-3-3-3 1T stable.
As mentioned earlier, my only concern with these modules is the physical ability to fit them in your system. If you are using a CPU cooler that is very large, like the Ultra Products ChillTEC cooler, you may run into clearance issues."
